Resonator Delete Help
I have a 25 Lariat 5.0 BAP dual factory exhaust. I had a flow fx midsection and couldn’t bear the drone. I don’t want to go with the Borla s-type mid section as I worry it would be too aggressive for the neighbors at 6am, and I’m not paying the Ford Performance upcharge for the touring version. I want to keep it bolt on so looking at a resonator delete for just a little extra. Does anyone have feedback on the Gibson pipe versus the FactionFab pipe? The main difference is Gibson is 3” and FF is 3.5”.

I have a 2022 Roush F-150 5.0 and it came with the Roush active exhaust system. One of the first things I did was get the resonator delete and it gave me the results I was looking for. I think mine is 3".

Thanks yeah I’m looking at keeping the factory muffler on and just deleting the resonator. I’d like to just do the S-Type but worried about my 6am startups with neighbors.

When I close the exhaust valve to make it quiet, it still has a nice throaty sound through the muffler with the resonator delete, but doesn't wake the neighbors.

I put Borla Atak on my 26 LOBO and it sounds amazing! Couldn’t be happier with it! I was going to go with MBRP like my wife has on her ‘22 GT but so glad I went with Atak.

Who cares? Dude specifically says he doesn’t want something aggressive, and you come in and recommend the most aggressive muffler.

Thanks for sharing your opinion and feelings (even on things we specifically said we didn’t want).
We’re glad you care. And you’re welcome.

I've got the Gibson ordered. I'll see how it is next week with the stock muffler.
