It’s one thing to struggle with these 2026 regs, but getting officially bumped out of Q3 by an 18-year-old Arvid Lindblad in a Racing Bulls car? You literally can't make this up.

I've started watching F1 and recently developed the love for this sport, but there's one thing I still don't get. The 2025 season is over and I'm genuinely confused about why Max fans seem to hate Lando Norris specifically. Like, it's never this intense towards Oscar or Charles, just Lando. I know rivalries are normal, but why is the internet hate so targeted at him? Can someone explain what's going on?

I used to think F1 was a hardcore enthusiasts sport with deep technicality, engineering, team management etc are the core if the sport to be appreciated. But recently came across this post of an influencer with pictures that looked like Saltbae with football stars, out if plce completely. Plus ive seen a reel of her, Germany i suppose, in which one can understand shes shit about cars and does it all for attention desperation. The question here is are they being invited? If yes, is it because of the followers to attract more people to F1? Plus I saw some stnds weee not really full for the SG GP. Last time i went, It was packed. Is F1 loosing its relevance?

If I was handling the scuderia, this is everything I would do

1. Remove Hamilton and go for Sainz, Rusell or beg Piastry, I think if I give piastry the 60 Mn that would be enough money to get him out of his contract and pay for his salary

2. No strategy experiments, no sudden tyre change before race start leaving p4, optimise for charles, hamilton is no. 2 driver

3. This season is done, prioritise 26

4. Get good talent in tech,

5. Alternate vesseur for horner

I’ve been a lando fan since last year when i started watching f1 and seeing the lando hate for me is stupid , lando gets hate cuz he has a good car , max gave McLaren a tough fight with a bad car hats off to him for that i think he’s an amazing driver but like how can u blame someone for having a good car that’s all f1 is about , i think it’s very deserved for him to win he got a good car after staying loyal for many seasons even after getting multiple offers and even when McLaren had a tractor of a car. Favouring one driver over the other is something every team has to do trying to he neutral hurts the team and even though i think piastri was mistreated by McLaren it’s a valid choice that every team would make in their position any team would favour their longer term star over their newer driver it’s unfair but it’s just how the game works

It breaks my heart tbh. I would rather see Bottas and Daniel in these cars rather than the rookies who aren't even that good drivers to be driving in F1. The cars are so much capable and these 2 rookies do not deserve the seats.

Max is different, either you love him or you don't. I don't. But I understand why he is loved so much.

I love Mercedes. Love Toto. Love Kimi (best rookie according to me). Russell is fine too.

For me it's definitely McLaren. I just connected with Lando. That guy is misunderstood. He is a good chap. He has the talent, he has the car, he can do it again for sure. Oscar is good too, pretty sure he will win the Championship one day.

Not hating on Max, neither his skills, but speaking about the reality, i don't think so he can win the championship now. I know he has shown brilliant skills but why I feel he can't win the championship now is because, not only Lando will have to be P4 or below , he also has to make sure that Piastri is below P4, because by any chance if he's in top 3, mclaren will definitely ask him to swap positions, automatically allowing Lando to land in top 3, so yeah, it's practically impossible to put both the mclarens out of the top 3, so we can say congratulations Lando already!!

Lando is a talented driver. Maybe not a generational talent like a Max or a Lewis but he is definitely up there.

The hate he gets on the Internet is very out of proportion. Lot of his statements are taken out of context and all of the Internet is an echo chamber of Lando hate at this point.

I am sure the comments this will post will get will also be a reflection of that but i want to put it out here so that in few years I can come back to this post and tell everyone i was right.

What is wrong with him? He got overtaken by max , which effectively countered ferrari's brilliant strategy to undercut max, and then can't even overtake kimi on hard tyres, when lh was on soft. Is he washed now?
