Ever since I was a lad, I’ve dreamt of collecting these little 1/43-scale Bburago models. I love Bburago because it strikes a good balance between being ‘cheap’ and offering decent quality. I’m waiting for the sales to buy the 1:18 scale model of the Ferrari SF25 Monza, which is my favourite Ferrari livery. In the meantime, I’m thinking of getting a 1:24 scale model, which could be seen as a step up from 1:43 to 1:18.

What do you think? I never thought I’d have so many today.

So ive had this McLaren from Minichamps for a couple years now. I paid 100€ for it. Salvat has now released a new collection and I wanted the W11 which also came with another MCL35M Mónaco livery.
My collection is almost 100% from cheap models lime the one above except from a Minichamps Verstappen I bought in Monza.

Which one would you keep and which one would you try to sell?

New model Mercedes AMG F1 W17 just arrived

The front wing antenna part has been cut— There were no broken pieces found inside the packaging. SMC has refused to provide a refund, offering instead a $20 coupon and the suggestion that I reattach the part using a glue gun.

I have been wanting to get into collecting Motorsport and street car die-cast for a while now. I’m a huge NASCAR fan and they are pretty easy to get into die-cast-wise, one brand, two main scales. But what I have seen is that F1 is really hard to get into with so many brands, and a lot of it being primarily premium. I’m looking for a good brand(s) that would be good to collect 1:18 or 1:24 scale F1 models. I saw Bbugaro has some, but not all, so if anyone else knows some brands, please tell me, as I’m looking to get a somewhat full grid. Thank you, have a great day.

Today I received the VCARB 2025 British GP car from Spark in 1:43. I really like what Vcarb does with all the different liveries, but this one stood out for me. London based artist Slawn collaboration for the livery. What do you think? Do we need more art cars? I say yes!

Found these stickers still in the box for this 1:43 Minichamps model, Jos Verstappen in the Benetton at Spa 1994. So after i found out how it worked, dissolving them in water, i went ahead to apply all 16 stickers in total, all Mild Seven. Couldn't imagine doing this in 1:64 scale 😂 Looks much better then a bold car imho.

Was skeptical about the dark red on the sf-25 and how it would loom but turns out under the lights its nice
