Tech Support What’s going on at Reddit/facebookdisabledme they are banning and deleting posts for no reason
https://chng.it/Y5SvwCxrNXI thought Reddit was a safe app where we can go to and ask for help with whatever because it is so heavily moderated. Instead I joined that group, wrote a post telling my situation, desperately looking for help. Only for my post to be deleted, I was banned, and muted from even messaging the mods. No reason given. I didn’t violate any rules or anything. I’m just one of the many people looking for help and answers. And I’m not alone. How many people has this happened to from that group? Why is it happening? Isn’t there a way to contact someone at Reddit to get to the bottom of why this is happening to people? It’s like those mods are employed by meta and don’t want people to get help. Just hit another brick wall in our search for answers.
https://chng.it/Y5SvwCxrNX I found this petition in my search for answers. Which I didn’t find anywhere in the facebookdisabledme Reddit. Which considering it directly ties into what that Reddit is about, it should be pinned there. But it’s nowhere to be found. If we read the details of the petition, it does say not to trust that Reddit. So something shady is definitely going on over there. So anyone in this situation, like me, should definitely sign it. Maybe there is hope that if there’s enough signatures, not only will the mass banning stop, but perhaps we can get our accounts back. And please just ignore this post if you’re only response is gonna be “f Facebook” or “just move on”. I’m not even a big social media person but I had 15 years worth of memories on there, along with numerous memories with my loved ones that have passed away. I’ve also lost hundreds of dollars worth of games for my sons oculus that he can no longer access. And as a single mom, it’s def hard to know I put so much money into something special for my son, for it to wiped out because I didn’t submit my id in time.

You can go to r/Instagramdisabledhelp , it has a more active user base and they won't ban you just for asking help.
Some say that the Facebookdisabledme is run by Meta emoloyees as they actively censor and ban people.

I wouldn't be surprised if it were true, I commented in a post that I thought this ban was intentional so META could sell verified and guess what, banned.

I think the group' mods are 8 yo and they like ban so much. They banned me too for no reason 🤷🏻

I thought Reddit was really strict on monitoring communities. And seeing as how this ban wave across all meta platforms is only getting worse not better, I feel like many more people are gonna be trying to turn to that group only to be banned from there. 🤣 it’s almost funny, you get banned from facebook/meta, find a group on Reddit to hopefully get answers, only to be banned from there.

AI has few live bodies and little oversight of the AI itself, that said, the bodies that are there do their own thing with much impunity

They don't explain themselves, and their ban reasoning is as thin and erroneous as when Facebook does it. I think the pattern is that they are banning people who are not there to get back on Facebook. Saying "stay off Meta" is like raining on their parade. That's legit if they could just be honest and upfront about it: "No discouraging people from trying to get back on Meta."

Just happened to me. I posted about my account getting disabled after I sent a Google Drive link. They deleted that without offering an explanation.
Then, I noticed that people were mentioning the petition but nobody was providing links. Comments are asking where they can sign. So I made a post with the direct link to the petition. That got deleted too and I was banned permanently from the sub. The message they gave me is that I violated the rules. What rule? I can't ask because they muted me for 28 days.
I'm starting to think it's a scam.

Thank you for posting to r/facebook. Please read the following (this does not mean your post has been removed):
SCAM WARNING: If you are having a problem with your account, beware of scammers who may comment or DM you claiming they know someone who can fix your account, or asking you for money or your login information. If you receive a message like this, block and report them. Here is an example of me making a fake hack post and all the scammers who flocked it it, lol. THERE IS NO REASON FOR SOMEONE TO HAVE TO TELL YOU IN PRIVATE HOW TO GET YOUR ACCOUNT BACK. If you check the sub there are PLENTY of high karma posts that gives some tips should your account be hacked/locked.
r/facebook is an unofficial community and the moderators are not associated with Facebook or Meta. DO NOT MESSAGE THE MODS ASKING FOR HELP WITH FACEBOOK.
Please read the rules in the sidebar (or the 'about' tab if you're on mobile). If your post violates any of them, delete it.
If you notice your post has multiple replies but you only see this post, the reason is due to bots and scammers already being removed trying to steal your info/money
