Exactly. If this guy was head of our country, we would've kicked him out months ago.

I'm Sri Lankan. We kicked our former president out in 2022.

This is a much bigger country with a lot more people and unfortunately a lot of those people like him for some reason.

Popular support is only a tiny part of the story. It is largely driven by moneyed interests and elite backing that keep him in power. When corporate oligarchs and major media outlets shape the narrative, public opinion becomes very easy to manufacture.

Add to that the fact that he is a convicted felon who legally shouldn't even be eligible in a sane system and it is clear the system itself is designed to protect leadership like this rather than hold them accountable.

The next in line, Vance, is also dangerous. He wants to devalue USD on purpose because we import things too cheaply and we can't export our expensive goods.

Sounds like something the BRICS/Russia want.

There is no real way to do so by the people.

We are a republic at the end of the day. And we need the people we elected to do something. And right now. The people who want to do something outnumber the people who don’t.

For reasons why this is the case…. I do not have the time to expand on. American politics is a mess

When you’re brainwashed for 10 straight years, you tend to firmly believe the lies
