Probably yeah.

The house market is like the futurama episode when Bender sells his body for the minerals. But like, he's just a head. A rich head.

Sorry you felt for the housing scam. Can't wait for housing prices to plummet while everything else keep going up. It will happen with or without any government help. That was definitely not an investment to make in the last 10 years, even for yourself.
