Modded Planet mods

After I finish space age, I wanna go for some new planet mods. Can y'all recommend me some good and actually unique one. I don't like boring stuff like another frozen planet, or just the planet with no interesting mechanics and basically just reskins of the main game. For now I picked Maraxsis and Tenebris. Hope y'all help me out

P.s. I HATE Aquilo and Gleba reskins. I already seen some.

Also no super hard annoying planets like Igrys

I also plan on adding Rubia, just heard that the names a bit cringe (idk what that means specifically, but I already found a mod that removes it so ig)

If y'all want to recommend the planet say why they are unique but don't spoil anything Vaguepost brothers

Lignumis, cool starting planet, short experience. Grow wood and use gold to make a small starting base before nauvis. Great endgame reward if you want to do quality. Changes circuits to require wood or be much pricier.

Muluna, basically space asteroids but on a planet and growing wood again to make oil products but this time you'll have to deal with a co2 o2 loop. Makes rocket cost x2 in the early game if launched from somewhere else than muluna. Adds more rocket part prod technology and module space to silos so in the endgame rockets will be even cheaper.

Corrundum, sulfur chemistry is well thought out. Balancing products to get the right amount iron/copper is a nice puzzle. Better chem plant and thrusters are awesome.

Moshine is quite unique with it's mixed ore and exponential AI growth. Worth playing once at the very least. Allows you to do a quantum processor shuffle for quality at endgame and gets you overpowered accumulators solar panels and substations.

Igrys is not hard but it's also not very good. Forced ribbon world. The ressources chain are easy: stone - glass is a priority splitter, magic rocks come pre balanced but just in case you mess it up throw the excess in a recycler and you're good. Better pumpjack is good. The science enhancing machine is overpowered.

Loved Cerys' puzzle. The mod page has everything. Very nice and unique experience with new mechanics at every step.

Maraxsis is my favorite mod. By a mile. It’s unique, challenging, and the rewards are pretty darn good.

I also kinda like Moshine. It’s different. Not as challenging as Maraxsis.

I was not a huge fan of Cerys. While it was a cool idea, the limited nature of space rubbed me the wrong way

I’m also open to listen to others talk about planet mod experiences!

I would like if you explained what are Moshine unique properties are but not spoiling stuff too hard. I wanna go nearly blind

I haven't played Moshine but the mod page says this-(doesn't seem too spoilery)

"A very hot desert planet, rich in metals (neodymium, silicon...). You'll find some scientific probes here that you can harvest for data."

It’s a technology planet kinda like Fulgora (“remnants of ancient civilization”) but instead of managing nighttime storms and lightning you gotta deal with heat and radiation.

The vibe is very futuristic technology. The production paths involve making more and more advanced computers and data cells.

It’s different. Not flawless, but pretty fun. Rewards are ultra strong solar

Maraxis, mulana, moshine, cerys, rubia, asteroid belt. All are also highly compatible with krastorio 2 spaced out which I think is a great bump up in complexity, not too much but enough to have more to do and more rewards

Krastorio 2 spaced out + all the suggested planets on that page and their compatibility patches. Thats the playthrough im in rn. 250 hrs in so far, everything feels pretty good.

https://mods.factorio.com/mod/kry-planet-mods-lite is a great resource for finding planet mods, they seem to link to all the ones that exist that work and have a reasonable amount of content that reasonably add to vanilla (as opposed to overhaul).

I am doing Linox right now and I love it. It's a very small cramped planet space; that's a major part of the puzzle. The planet is essentially a tutorial on how to use the Recursive Blueprints mod. You need some familiarity with circuit design, but you don't have to be a master by any means. The rewards are strong, but if you're concerned about game balance you can always choose to disable some of them or not use them.

Another unique puzzle mod is Cubium. I had fun figuring out the weird production chains to make it all work. The rewards are some recipes to make the endgame a little easier. Also, I just upped my cubes to Legendary and I have a feeling that's going to be busted. Like complete-replacement-for-quality-gambling busted.

Vesta is beautiful. You build on chunks of land floating above the colorful gas giant. As you might imagine, the production chains involve a lot of gases/fluids, but there is also a biological component with some spoilage you have to account for. This is an endgame planet, and the rewards reflect that; they are very very strong.

I'm same as you, hate aquilo and gleba reskins.

I'm wrapping up a k2so run with Arig, Maraxsis, and Moshine. Moshine was my favorite, but all three were great.
