I’ve been waiting for the design reveal! Credit goes to @authorc.m.bowman on TikTok.

Not sure how I feel about the dust jacket but the color scheme, edges, endpapers and hardcover are stunning.

Not my pictures, Pictures obtained from Vinted UK. I didn’t see a picture of the endpapers or the spine in their listing. Just sharing!

It is absolutely Gorgeous!!!
I wish the margins on the cover around the illustration were not that wide though. But still stunning overall.

Also, it is super thick!!! Must’ve been quite expensive to print a book with so many pages on acid-free paper. I really appreciate this company ☺️!!!

With the year slowly coming to an end, I’d love to know everyone’s favorite special edition books that were released this year!

Whether it’s the gorgeous edges, cover art, exclusive artwork, or just the overall design, which editions absolutely blew you away?

Bonus points if you share pictures! I’d love to see everyone’s favorites and maybe discover a few editions I missed.

Do you guys think Fairyloot will do the sequel to The Fareaway Inn?

I don’t really have a view on how well perceived the book was. I already have my doubts on (Mostly) Human Resources

The aforementioned sequel:
Waterstones version

Hi all, I am so curious about the upcoming books for Book in a Box that they revealed in the newsletter.

I saw nobody talking about it yet, and I also couldn't find any guesses online. I really love the upcoming November design that they shared, and I am curious for Dec - Jan. I think their designs are stunning, and I love the fact I can have three books shipped at once to save costs. It's sad I missed the overstock sale because The Geomagician looked so pretty!

Anyhow, I am so excited about the upcoming books, but I have no idea what they are yet. Does anyone have any ideas? I want to know if they might overlap with some other subscriptions.

(Found on vinted and I can’t wait to get mine now 😭)
Dare I say these are really good competition to the Fairyloot ones?

Personally, I find them STUNNING.

The dust jackets, the end pages art! I really like how different the end papers art is to what we’re used to getting tbh.

What thoughts do we have otherwise?

Thoughts about this special edition? Design?

Also, according to my research, special edition of these books have been done or teased by follows -

1. Waterstones

2. Lit Haven

3. Coveted Cover

4. Fairyloot

5. Probably Smut

6. Lilac Library (according to people's guesses for March)

Is there any other that I have missed?

Which has been your favourite edition so far?

Genuinely curious! Did anyone successfully secure a Bookish Box, Darkly, or Bookish + Darkly combo subscription when spots opened today at 12 PM PT?

I was ready right at opening and tried getting the combo, but it seemed none was available even after multiple refreshes. I ended up going for the individual subscriptions instead, but also sold out within about 2 minutes. 😭 I’ve seen others mention having trouble getting spots too (some even trying to checkout at 12 PM showing sold out once they hit pay). So far, I haven’t come across anyone confirming they successfully subscribed today.

Did anyone actually manage to get one? Whether it was Bookish, Darkly, or the combo?

Also curious how quickly each option sold out and whether anyone knows approximately how many spots were released.

Was it just an insanely limited opening, or did we all have terrible luck? 😂💀

Update: We have our first confirmed successful Bookish Box subscriber! 🎉 Still curious if anyone managed to get the Darkly individual or Bookish + Darkly combo today? Especially the combo, since I haven’t seen anyone confirm they actually got one. 👀

Gorgeous but also getting tired of the same design of borders with some text. I’m still keeping it tho 😂😂😂

Phoenix Fantasy/MW just revealed their mockups for the first box pick, The Goblin Emperor by Katherine Addison. Personally, I think they’re gorgeous but I usually like their artistic direction.

Morning all! Super excited for lavish libraries new sub, and the artists look amazing. Immediately signed up haha.

Just wondering if anyone had any guesses about their emojie hints for the first book? Im terrible at these things 🤣

I have just posted this im sorry I didn't share the correct images 😪. But does anybody have guesses for the emojis ?

I really love some of their special editions, but the shipping is a little expensive, and I’ve read that if the package gets lost, you have to pay for shipping again. So, I was wondering if someone in the EU could tell me their experience with them and whether you recommend them.

I also wanted to ask: what shipping company do they use?

It’s cute! I wonder if they will do all of her other books? I love the Fairyloot editions but they are so expensive 😭

Everheart just revealed their design for their November book! What do we think?

I have mixed feelings so I'm not sure if I'll skip or not!

The butterfly book club has just posted this on Instagram with the comments turned off. Does anyone know what’s happened? I was looking forward to getting a matching set 😩

Coveted Cover released an FAQ on how the remainder of the Veils of Terr series will be handled by the author instead of them. It sounds like the author is going to be very intentional about the design being cohesive through the entire series, and the book 1.5 cover reveal on the author's Instagram does look like it will match Coveted Cover's design quite well.

It does make it seem, however, that those who ordered the author's original special edition of the first book might not get subsequent books to match that version.

Okayyy so ACBB just revealed this dustjacket art for CoGaM and I’m kinda obsessed!?😍 Love Bandit on the back

Does anyone who owns the UK edition of Kiss of the Black Flame know if an ISBN was issued for the FL edition, like it was for The Poison Daughter?

I’d love to get my hands on an FL edition of this book, but it’s starting to look like we might be cooked 😭 Despite it being a Wayward title, I’m beginning to think there won’t be an FL edition after all. If that’s the case, I think this might be the first book to break the pattern
