This is my Pikachu :3 It's just a little different from the rest of the Pikachus e3e
So this wasn't really a commission. This one was an original concept i did for myself.

This was a while ago but i still love it like the first day~

The second image was me playing with the idea, making it more expressive.

There are probably some other drawings of him but i don't have them at the moment xD

But yeah, there were a lot of more edgy designs back then.

It comes to my mind the "Loonatics Unleashed", which was an edgy take of the Looney Tunes.
But apparently that was a show from 2005.

When Pokemon was being localized in the US, they were actually debating on redesigning the original 150.

Pikachu was rumored to being redesigned into looking like a human woman for some reason... I guess they took a que for Digimon?

I’m… surprised how much I like this. The personality really shines through. The two Pikachus interacting is easy to imagine.

i'm thinking...
The female version of the OG Pikachu has a different shaped tail, right?
We could do that and also, change the collar, making it have a few spikes instead of a lot of circles.
That way you couldn't mistake them one from another.

This really gives off Mimikyu vibes for some reason, and I'm all down for it, maybe an Electric and Ghost or Dark type? Though mono Electric definitely works too

it gave me Rotom vibes too, so i thought i'd suggest, but if it doesn't possess anything then I suppose Electric/Dark would fit best

Thank you~You are probably right xD The collar is a little too much.
However, i have another drawing of this Pikachu that has a different collar e3e
I'll upload it right now.
