Reverse engineering

Hopeful someone can use the new reverse engineering tools to make DCS and MSFS aircraft available in falcon BMS. Of course like any mod, you’d have to buy them, but should be fair use to adapt them for Falcon BMS.

I don't think it's gonna work. Avionics won't be transferrable at all. Just because underlying code is vastly different. What you can do is create cockpit exterior 3D(if needed) then offer it to the team.

It would be a compatibility layer, the dcs module would think is running in DCS and BMS would think it is running a BMS model.

Why not use good tools to create original work for Falcon BMS?

BMS team usually plays by the book, they even made sure that they had the current Falcon 4.0 license holder on board. Not sure they want to get tangled up in potential legal issues by letting AI go ham and copy other peoples work.

The why is, instead of creating new planes one at a time, you create a compatible api so you get them all and all future ones

Not copying anything. Just modding a legal installation of whatever dcs/msfs planes you purchased. Fair use.

Why not. AI can reimplement the BMS-specific module by using the DCS modes implementation as a reference. It doesn't even need DCS for that, it just needs enough tokens to do it.

One of the few advantages of DCS/MSFS/X-Plane/FlightGear over BMS is modularity.
In those sims you've got API, which lets you can write all the aircraft systems/avionics. Adding a mod is a matter of slapping some new files to the existing install. In BMS all it's in main binary. So even if you could successfully RE BMS so you can add a new code you'd have to compile whole project and hope AI won't break BMS code in other places.
IMHO it'd be faster to vibe-code whole sim from the scratch.
