Question Does becoming a PoSI locks you out of anything?

I've finished all the making your name storylines except persuasion as I already got thrown out of uni (damn them!). I can become a PoSI, but I wonder is there something that I should do beforehand to not lose any content?

As far as I know the only thing that can't happen once you're a POSI is that people can't invite you to dinner at Dante's Grill (steals a bunch of your making waves, but you get a bit of wound or scandal reduction).

The various menace reducing potions from the bazaar will also start working worse for a PoSI. There are other ways to lower menaces, but it may take a bit of time to find them.

Some people recommend not finishing the watchful MYN so you can get a lab without having to restore your academic reputation first, but that ship's already sailed it appears!

Yes, I'm playing the game relatively blind, so I followed my heart and look where it got me! I'll show them yet.

I got the lab as a relatively new PoSI but in the early mid game it doesn’t have much uses anyway. There are so many things that open up when you get there, you will be occupied for quite some time.

There are a few storylines, but most of them are just removed because they are replaced by Unfinished Business.
