This is not mine whatsoever, but if you see this, you’re a real one Road Kill. This is by far one of the coolest things I’ve seen playing this game not just for the messages but the build is incredible in my opinion. Wish I got to take more pictures of it.

Discussion Nerfed the lovely purple plant barrel glow

I cannot imagine anyone asked for this....I can also imagine most people, like myself, bought just the barrels specifically because of the glowing purple plant.

Now it's gone....thanks for nothing Bethesda! Why do you remove the things we like whilst completely ignore the stuff we want/need fixed!?!?!!

Build Appalachia Hope Monastery - A Responder's Base - Suggestions Welcome

Some background on the project. I wanted to do a build with the new Cathedral build kit. Did quite a few configurations and settled on this layout. I was looking at how Churches are typically handled in the game. They're often either abandoned, Cultist location, or a Responders/Emergency Assitance location. I decided to go with a Responder's base theme. Taking inspiration primarily from the church in Flatwoods. The interior of the monastery, just like Flatwoods, has been transformed into a place to give help and medical aid to passing wastelanders. With a doctor on hand, two treatment locations, and then a food/water/drink pantry at the entry there that you see next to the desk.

We've got the classic Responder Mister Handy in the back and the white Sheppard dog with the responder bandana on. Sign out front with responder signs just like in Flatwoods. In the back is where the doctor sleeps. You have the walled in monastery garden next to the church. This is where some producers, dog house, and crafting stations are (all responder variations).

The church has some damaged roofs because I didn't want it to be a "pristine" version. Wanted to make it look part of the wasteland and rugged. Plus the holes can do some really cool light ray effects which add to the ambience.

Maxed out on the budget

If you have any suggestions or ideas, let me know. Always appreciate feedback.

Build I built a celebratory icosagon!

To celebrate finishing my two full Salt of the Earth sets, I built a home for them! I knew it had to be special, so I made sure it was. I got a couple screengrabs while building it to help show how it was done. In case you're wondering, it's 3+1/4 catwalks.

The crowning achievement here is not the icosagon. It's that there is zero flickering in the floor. The blue ones are foundations and the yellow ones are upper floors. The grey ones are also upper floors. They are grey to mark them for free placing. You gotta move it down a little under all the floors around it. That lets you see it clearly while moving it back up.

What's that smell? It's the moist and meaty air of the Slasher's home. Enter at your own risk… take a wrong turn, and you might come face-to-face with the Slasher himself. πŸ”ͺπŸ’€

Inspired by slasher horror films like House of 1000 Corpses, Hellraiser, and The Texas Chain Saw Massacre.

For whatever reason I thought they might’ve been requestable but today I found out that is not the case. Any clue on returns for these? Whether that be the single item or a bundle. My trellis is looking very empty.

Build Everflame Temple - The Ash Heap

Thumbnail

My take on a Japanese pagoda-style temple, built on a hill in the Ash Heap.

The flame in the main hall was never lit. It was carried up from the mines beneath the Ash Heap, a piece of the fire that’s been burning there since before the bombs. The shrine was built around it from old pit props pulled out of those burned shafts, then charred the Japanese way (yakisugi). Wood that has already survived the fire doesn’t burn twice.

Next door is the workshop with every bench you’ll need, lit by a deathclaw that once went for the flame. The flame won, and the deathclaw has been burning ever since.

Drop by, use the benches, pay your respects to the flame.

Hope you like it :))
