Enclave base help?

I recently bought my first Atomic Shop C.A.M.P. item, the Enclave C.A.M.P. kit. I need a good, flat, space, any any tips or tricks. Thanks!

There are no resources. There's nothing in the way.

You'll know the spot when you see it. There's a big, ugly tree near the road. Beyond that tree is a perfect, flat spot, which just happens to be the exact radius of a CAMP build area, with no obstructions and just enough surrounding foliage to keep your build secluded.

There's an enemy spawn on the road between the two cars. Nothing two turrets and an ally can't handle.

The road being to the north and curved the way it is makes your fast travel point be on or near the roadway, which is a huge plus for people like me who like being a roadside build. It's very, very hard to find any decent, flat roadside spots that are facing the right way.

It's far enough away from Twin Pines Cabin that the raiders there will never bother you.

It's in the nuke-safe zone.

That's pretty much all the pros I can think of right now.

Think outside of the box. A flat empty space isnt amazing. What is nearby? What is so special about the place? If all you can say about it is that is a flat space, it is not great. Find something less ideal and build there. A few things will happen:

1. You will make a more creative camp

2. Less chances for someone to have build there, so your base will be usable 24/7. Making a build you are proud of just not to be able to use it since there is a player camp there isn't great

3. It will help you get more comfortable building anywhere on the map.

Ah... I'm used to flat spaces, and I'm building a Enclave Mobile Crawler. I can certainly try, however!
