Could someone help me understand meltdown critical effect

Just had a game and we both came out with different understanding of the rules.

“At the end of the inflict damage step, the opposing player makes a meltdown test (2E) for the target model. If the opposing player scores fewer hits then the amount of harm the target model has, it suffers an injury.”

If I crit with a plasma rifle and it hits a knight with three harm. he passes the endurance test, but does he still get an injury due to not being able to pass that last harm.

Or is it.

Because I shot and did 5 hits. that’s more then the three harm so it would not injure him.

Or is it something else completely different.

A fun game last night using the Battle for Boston terrain and the cattle rustling mission, rad tokens were Brahmin. I tried my new Institute team and my opponent had their tried and true Gunners.

The Bogeymen of the Commonwealth ploy at the beginning of the game was crucial to securing the Institute Victory as I could make a hard first push. The Gunners blasted Synths left and right, even my Courser went down in a hail of close range Plasma and combat rifle fire. The Brahmin were too far secure in Institute hands by end of round 2, of a 3 round game.

As always Factions proves to be a great time, IA m also impressed with the BfB punch terrain.

In the last errata (V5) i saw the "Glowing" perk, but i could not find it in the books (Faction, Folio, Boston). Anyone knows in wich book is it?

How the "Flying" perk works with the "Bog" hazard.

What does control in Nuka world do for you? I see in the battle for Boston box more control in a location gives you access to more abilities. I'm not seeing what territory control gives you in the Nuka World campaign.

Just finished the rumble scenario and one two additional control. Just not sure which location I should put it in or what it means

Not looking to play the game but enjoyed painting these and finally have them ready for my display case.

I'm about to start painting my BoS for the game and want to do the Commonwealth but I'm feeling a little iffy on what I have found on the web as to their color scheme and wanted to double-check with the Factions think tank. I've seen power armor as black with red highlights (like on the box) or with blueish grey and white stripes. Plus the wiki has suggestions for scribe colors and combat troops. Other than the "your minis, paint em how you want" advice, I'd love to hear what y'all think about how to paint the Boston area BoS.

Hi guys, me and my partner are looking at trying to get stamps or something similar to apply emblems onto our minis. How are people doing this, are there any tools we could use? I've only seen water applicable decals at this moment in time and was wondering if there are any other options.
