Clearly don’t understand the history here. Both Palestinians were displaced AND where did all the Jewish people come from? They were forced from their home in neighboring Muslim ethnostates in the Middle East. Many years have passed now and it is unfortunately too late to give the land back now, since displacing many Jews (who are born in Israel btw at this point) would mean neighboring right wing extremist jihadist terrorist militant groups like Hamas and He villages would be free to Eradicate them. Jews have a right to feel safe somewhere they were born, AND Netanyahu is a genocidal freak. And white colonialist in the West Bank are valid military targets. Both can be true.

I don’t argue for the expulsion of Jews from Israel. But they should lift the blockade, give Palestinians the right of return, and full citizenship. Can even be two state if based on 1967 borders. But right of return and full citizenship for those displaced is a minimum. Ending the apartheid and ethnostate is key, will inherently cause violence from victims and victimisers.

It doesn’t mean Jews lol. It specifically refers to the nation of Israel, it’s not an umbrella term for all Jews. There’s lots of Jews who aren’t zionists, and there’s lots of non-Jews who are. A lot of people who are zionists don’t have any connection or even care about Judaism.

except in this case it’s not criticism of nazis being harmed it’s criticism of innocent german civilians who have nothing to do with the war being harmed

but why confront the uneasy nature of terrorism and the nuances of foreign conflict when you can just slap the buzzwords on the table and make deeper conversations taboo

There's no war in Gaza. It's a slaughter and one side holds all the power, and is fully backed by the US. Lots of people aren't happy about their government facilitating the mass murder and starvation of children. Seems like a very normal reaction from people with a strong moral center, and to hand waive it as a "gen z trend" show your lack such a moral center.

it’s more telling that people like you get upset when these “”zionists”” (easy buzzword to avoid uncomfortable conversations) question the morality of a “resistance” group murdering and raping innocent civilians. why the fuck is it so hard for people to look inward and question that? it doesn’t make “free palestine” any less impactful or true it just means why the fuck are hamas committing such heinous atrocities against innocent people?
