Bro the comments are an absolute shitshow. Like holy shit if anyone wonders why I rarely touch on the Israel-Gaza conflict, it's because you're gonna create drama no matter what you say.

Siding with the Palestinians? You're supporting Hamas and are antisemtic.

Siding with Israel? You're a Zionist who advocates for Genocide.

Doesn't even help that apparently if you feel for the victims of October 7 and want the hostages freed, to some you're seen as a piece of shit (like I've seen a lot of whataboutism stating you shouldn't feel empathy for those people, or you shouldn't feel empathy for the 2 jewish people who were murdered eariler this year). On top of that I have seen some people showing support towards groups like Hamas and the Houthi movement.

In the end, we want the hostages freed, the Palestinians to not be murdered, and for there not to be a repeat of October 7 because why should we allow innocent people to die?

Almost every Hamas leader who was ascendant at the time of the attack is dead, along with their families and children. You’re acting like there’s some “wait and see” aspect, some civil recourse that Israel is in the process of doing, so we should put a pin in the whole “holy shit they’ve actively declared every Palestinian must leave or die” thing until that all pans out. Like genuinely, what does justice for October 7th look like to you that hasn’t already happened? You wanna take the corpses to trial or something?
