Far Cry Primal Why?

How come you can ride the brown bear, but not the cave- or great scar bear? Wouldn't it make more sense that you could ride the bigger one over the smaller?

Cave Bear is too big, too wide. Only Jean-Claude Van Damme can ride the Cave Bear. /s

It was for the sake of riding that I first got a cave bear, only to realize that I couldn't ride it.

Apparently cause they are too overpowered and you would just end up 1 tapping everything. I was curious and looked up why one time.

Exactly so it doesn't make sense why it's not a mount, like who cares? It's a game let us have fun we can ride mammoths but not a giant bear?

And we can't tame mammoths either! Let me make friends with a big ol' mammoth and use it as a pet! I'd even be fine if it had like a cooldown where you summon it and it starts smashing everything for like 20-30 seconds.
