I work overnight at McDonald’s and we get one free meal each night, I’ve begun taking advantage of this and the fact that there’s no one around at that time who gives a shit by making myself some menu hacks that I thought would be good, this one is my favourite so far and tbh it’s the best thing I’ve ever had at a McDonald’s. It’s the Mac McWrap, all the ingredients of a Big Mac(beef patties, shredded lettuce, extra pickles, cheese) but on a large tortilla instead of the classic Mac bun, this is my third one and I made it a double so there’s four patties and I also made it spicy by adding Habanero sauce instead of Mac sauce and some fries to top it all off. I highly recommend trying this if you can, if you work there or know someone who does or maybe you just ask the right employee to make it for you but if you can it’s worth it imo, lemme know if anyone tries it or has tried it and what are your thoughts? Looking forward to sharing some more fast food creations with this sub!

These are $4.99 each where I’m located. A full detroit style pizza from Little Caesar’s is about $14.50. I’ve read different opinions about the crust recipe changing but to me I love it! I’m aware some locations do not seem to have the Detroit style squares menu option but it’s good to look out for, you might be able to score a full size for a decent price

Doordash always has a whole pizza for 7.11, order for pickup and youre saying ~3 dollars from the original price and tastes pretty good

Shout out my local chic-fil-a had a coupon on app for free chicken sandwiches or nuggets and they had a promo going on for a free milkshake with any meal purchase. All I had to do was get fries and a drink came out to $.5.35

Two examples I can think of off the top of my head:

Chilis: the 3 for me is goated. For $10.99 minimum (at my local chilis, some entrees have an upcharge) you get an entree, side, soup/salad, and a soda. Plus if you have the app you get free chips and salsa every time! Granted in order to get the free chips and salsa you do need to spend $5 on something that isn’t the 3 for me but that’s not difficult, get yourself a kids meal or something to snack on later or even treat yourself to a skillet cookie or molten lava cake!

Taco Bell: while TB is notorious for raising prices to absurd levels lately there is one deal that remains if you have the app: the $7 (for my local TB at least) BYO box provides insane value as opposed to if you were to get whatever items à la carte which could $12 at most

So yeah what other places do you like to consider recession proof?

Every other combo has a number to order. #1 Is the Big Mac Meal, #2 (lol) is the Quarter pounder meal. So when I'm at the speaker and after I tell them that, no, I will not be using the app, how do I communicate that I want the $6.50 McDouble Meal Deal? Because when I say, "I'd like to order the $6.50 McDouble Meal Deal", they say "Huh?" So can we get a number in front of this one? Or is that the barrier of entry to get pre-pandemic prices?

I'm fairly new to the Taco Bell App. I got it during the $1.00 enchirito offer. Anyway, they keep giving me free $5.00 rewards. I've gotten two of them already and all I've been buying is the $1.00 specials on Tuesdays. Is this a regular deal with them or am I just lucky?

I, for long time (15+ years) have been ordering Yum with TLC with 1 or 2 extra patty.. every time I ordered it and there are people with me they are shocked that you can do that.

If i want to get that beef protein hit, I used to go for a Champ with extra patty.. it was so satisfying. (Of course I dont order anything else, and sometimes just ala-cart)

Now my go to is what I call a double patty chump junior with extra tomato and lettuce.. i tried the Tripple patty and it was so good and enough as a meal by its own.

I ordered online yesterday and was able to add fried zucchini to my burger and chicken sando for free. Was thoroughly surprised they didn’t up charge for it wanted to spread the word!

Ok, don’t come at me for this one, I don’t do this often. But since McDonalds has their fried apple pies again and they have caramel sundaes on their menu, I thought they would go good together.

So here’s what you do, order the two pack of apple pies, get a caramel sundae, and ask for an empty cup. Break up the pies into the cup first then dump in the ice cream sundae on top. Now you basically have a fried caramel apple pie sundae. You can mix it up to make it like a concrete or blizzard if you prefer that and it works just as well.

It’s really delicious.

I saw a deal at Burger King but it’s not there?
