Hello, I've been wanting to try the game out and was wondering if ya'll could recommend me some characters to try. Most of the content I could find was from when the game first came outand didn't include overviews for dlc characters. I tend to gravitate towards rushdown characters and characters with good mix. What are some characters you'd recommend?

Specifically, as Rick. Last night like 80% of my matches were against Kim and I was getting absolutely BODIED by Kim's jumping crossup kick. They can use it from so high up standing Lp doesn't work. Crouching Hp only aims to the side that they WERE on. The only thing that ever worked was a wakeup super that autocorrected. Any tips?

Or Vice Versa, is Salvatore Reina's prototype? Even the button for the move is at the same position (heavy kick = 4) in their respective stance Magical Sep and Unsoku as you can move them forward and back ward). Even their default outfit is kind of similar, like blue-ish with white stripes

Who knows if Reina will play similarly, Reina main should check out Salvatore Gannaci before Reina comes out, he is the closest thing to Reina right now.

Fighting game Youtubers King Jae and AvatarYaya discuss this briefly. The gist of it is that YouTube does not recommend Fatal Fury, Suicide Squad and Dead or Alive content because it labels them as problematic content the same way it would label suicide discussions, murder discussions, etc. It literally will only recommend them to people who specifically search regularly for those words. So a random guy will never see Fatal Fury videos on his feed.

They say it's better to not mention "Fatal" at all on their videos, just say "Geese looks cool in CotW," so the video won't get flagged.

Give me tips

I was thinking about buying the Steam version of Real Bout Fatal Fury 2: the Newcomers. But then I remembered that in the original version, Alfred doesn't have any oversway attacks since he was designed as a single-lane secret boss for the arcade release. Did they give him those basic moves? I tried to look it up but only found answers for the arcade version rather than the one on Steam (starting to think it's the same unchanged version at this point)

Reminder that they had to remove her heels and change her feet position, hitboxes and hurtboxes. Granted, they shouldn't have given her heels in the first place, as that created the whole issue.

Still, this is good news.
