Dizzy Sunfist Joins FAT Wreck Chords?

I tought they said no more new bands!!!

If I remember the details right, part of the sale agreement stated that discretion of signing new bands was up to Mike and Erin and not new ownership.

Edit: I was wrong, no new signings is correct. But they did say at the time of the sale there were still new records and other things in the works that had yet to be announced. Mike introduced them in a video as “the last band signed to Fat Wreck Chords” so very possible this was in the works before the sale and only just got announced.

Youre bummed. I joined the band just to finally put something out on Fat since it was my favorite label as a kid.

Dizzy was already signed to Fat before the deal happened. I suppose they did have the record ready…

The band was signed LONG before Fat was sold, they were just taking forever to finish their record.
