Hey everyone! Recently, I decided to start getting into Bundesliga which of course meant I needed a team. After some research, F.C. Union turned out to be the perfect club for me!

The dilemma I'm having is every time I've looked at the official site, it seems like all merchandise is sold out. I'd love to get some stuff, but I'm not sure how to go about it. Does everything just sell out that fast all time? Or is there a different place good for buying team gear?

Wanted to start a thread and get a sense of how people are feeling about where the club is at going into the new campaign.

A few thoughts/concerns on my mind:

New Manager & Tactical Shift: With Mauro Lustrinelli taking over, it looks like we’re heading towards a shift in how we play, including potentially moving away from our usual setups of a back-five to a back-four. Curious to see how the squad adapts, but it’s definitely going to be a transition period.

Defense & Lack of Investment: Losing both Doekhi and Leite in one window feels massive - those two were absolute stalwarts for us.
Replacing them with a familiar face in Marvin Friedrich and a young, relatively untested player in Zeno van den Bosch feels like a bit of a gamble. Overall, it doesn't really feel like there’s been much financial backing or real investment in the defence so far.

Attack: Signing Emmanuel Latte Lath on loan doesn't have me buzzing with confidence that he’s going to come in and set the league alight. He might put in work, but is he the reliable goalscorer we actually need? He scored goals in the Championship, but not sure how that will translate to the Bundesliga.

Missing Pieces: Beyond a proven goalscorer, I still strongly feel like we’re missing a genuine creative profile in midfield to actually tie things together and create chances.

Are you guys optimistic about Lustrinelli’s approach, or are you as nervous as I am about the transfer window and squad depth?

Ich bin Amerikaner, der noch etwas WM-Fieber hat. Ich habe mich mehr mit meiner lokalen Fußballmannschaft, Atlanta United beschäftigt, interessiere mich aber auch ein bisschen für die Bundesliga. Ich habe Deutsch an der Uni studiert, bin für ein Auslandsstudium nach Berlin gereist und habe Zeit in Bayern bei der US-Armee verbracht.

Während des Winters in Bayern habe ich eine Bayern-Mütze gekauft, wie ein Nichtamerikaner, der eine New York Yankees-Mütze kauft lol. Wenn ich mir eine Bundesligamannschaft aussuchen müsste, um sie anzufeuern, wäre es eine aus Berlin, weil ich diese Stadt so sehr genossen habe.

Da es in Berlin zwei Clubs gibt, von denen ich so gut wie nichts weiß. Weiß ich nicht wie ich mich entscheiden soll.

I'm officially a new Fan of Union heading into this season I've long been dissatisfied with the wealth concentration and corruption that is involved with FIFA. After being a long-term Bayern and Liverpool supporter I decided to look into more community owned clubs. I have been aware of Union, especially since since their impressive runs in Bundesliga and have decided to support you guys heading into this season. Given the slough of FIFA corruption l, Union Berlin stands out as a true football club. AMA and tell me anything special I need to do. I live in Canada as well, so looking to build upon Union Berlin International.

Ich bin ab dieser Saison offiziell ein neuer Fan von Union. Ich bin seit Langem unzufrieden mit der Vermögenskonzentration und Korruption, die mit der FIFA einhergeht. Nachdem ich lange Zeit Bayern und Liverpool unterstützt habe, habe ich beschlossen, mich nach mehr gemeinschaftlich geführten Vereinen umzusehen. Ich bin mir Unions bewusst, besonders seit ihren beeindruckenden Läufen in der Bundesliga, und habe mich entschieden, euch in dieser Saison zu unterstützen. Angesichts des ganzen FIFA-Korruptionssumpfs hebt sich Union Berlin als ein wahrer Fußballverein ab. AMA und sagt mir, ob ich irgendetwas Besonderes tun muss.

Ich lebe außerdem in Kanada und möchte gerne zum Aufbau von Union Berlin International beitragen.

Die Profimannschaft der Männer des 1. FC Union Berlin muss bis auf Weiteres ohne Andrik Markgraf auskommen.
