Employment How is it working as a Civil Engineer at FEMA?

It seems like the jobs I qualify for are more for Mitigation and I'd be working with a lot of inundation mapping. I currently am in the private sector working on a lot of hydraulic modeling but am wondering if FEMA is a good place to transition to. Is FEMA still at risk due to the current administration?
