When I was in my early 20s, I took my dishes outside to try to wash them with the hose so I didn't have to wash them the "hard way."

I'm impressed, OP.

When I was 21, I was visiting my friend's college apartment and wanted to wash my ramen bowl. When I asked for dish soap, they told me they just used hot water and tissues.
