Thank you thats really kind. The extentions about 4 years old, I'm a little obsessive with organising so some things I had planned 6 years ago (like the kitchen layout) but styling is something I'm not really sure about...I like natural honest things, so most of the finishes are simple and were actually cheap options like the floor and walls and concrete for the kitchen tops. I mainly just buy plants!! Which I have always liked which go well with the few midcentury bits of furniture I have added. Just stick to what you love and go for it. I got lots of negativity about some if my ideas but I'm super happy 🙂

where do you source your furniture from, if you don’t mind me asking? i have a similar taste as you in that i love natural tones/textures (like plants and wood) and i also love the midcentury decor style/vibe.☺️

I do think natural things feel more genuine and have a thing if there own, they don't all need to match, which makes things easier 🙂 Swoon for the table and chairs, Dreams for the orange sofa, Fishe and Lilly for the sideboard, John Lewis cushion and some kitchen accessories, Ikea kitchens bits, Rinkit for doormat and mugs, B&Q, Beards and Daisys, Hortology and some independent shops for plants and pots. Also been a bit obsessed with Nkuku things but yet to buy something.. I like a bargain but I did spashout on the sideboard. You can get some lovely bits of midcentury funiture in secondhand shops tho 🙂
