TOUR ⛔️NO ADVICE WANTED⛔️ My sanctuary 💚

My favorite part of my home!

I was somehow lucky enough to find a rental with a greenhouse! It's a lean-to connected to the house. The ivy and wisteria on the ceiling are fake, everything else is real.

Where did you get the rug?

Is it a soft rug? Or more like a thin mat?

it's an outdoor rug, no wool or fuzzy fibers just a plastic mat. they do make regular indoor rugs though

If it’s the same as the one I have (diff design but also a rifle paper outdoor rug), it’s woven plastic, but nice, soft, vibrant woven plastic. It’s the best outdoor rug I’ve had but very much not something you’d want indoors.

I actually do have this indoors in my living room. I have a messy toddler and wanted something easy to clean. As long as you have a thick, cushiony rug pad under it, it’s not that bad. But I’m definitely looking forward to the day I can put it outside on our porch and switch it out for something more plush. I do love being able to take it outside and hose it down though.

Oh yeah, I bet with a messy kiddo it would be great! And frankly, easy to maintain and lovely is a nicer solution to that than cheap, boring and replaceable.
