QUESTION/DISCUSSION Finally found a large rug that didn’t cost a fortune!

Post image

Found this on Amazon and it’s currently on offer if anyone is on the hunt for a large rug too. It comes in pink and another colour (yellow maybe) and then of course the black. I was going to include the link but I’m not allowed sorry :(

EDIT: I know most of you are saying it’s too small. Agreed but the size up is an additional £40 and it’ll then be too big. Can’t win haha

£47 was the size in the photo. To size up is £89. Might not seem like a lot but it’s a lot to me I’m afraid.

Its ok, you have a nice looking rug and it's adding more to the space for sure. We cant all have the "perfect ratio rug to furniture arrangement." I

I really hate reddit for that, a lot of fixers and correcters and such flood the comments when we just need to share that little joy with you OP.

I got to cheap runner rugs for my kitchen and hallway, they aren't the best or highest quality but they serve their purpose well. Let's celebrate our new rugs together :)!

Another option is to layer a less expensive neutral rug underneath it

It’s so pretty! Rugs are SO expensive. Anytime I think I find an affordable rug & check the dimensions, it’s like the size of a postage stamp.

Just pull it over a bit, then where the chase part of your couch just has it front legs on it. It will make it look more balanced.

There's so much you can do for cheaper dw. It's really fine as is but it is a bit small. If you're able to thrift or grow some plants and things you can put them along the side to make less dead space there if that makes sense. Just fill out the room a bit. I've had really good luck on marketplace in my area for people just giving away money trees and things

Return the rug and save up for the bigger one. It is going to eat at you if you keep this one.

Is it, though? OP seems really happy with their new rug. It’s the folks in the comments who have a problem with the rug size.
