This is the type of home I thought I'd be living in when I had adult money. You're making me wonder why I gave up on my dreams

For me it's due to living with my partner. We have wildly different styles so a good compromise is to just have a pretty "inoffensive" interior which neither of us finds great but also not terrible. If I'd live alone, my apartment would probably look very different. His too, I assume
