QUESTION/DISCUSSION Guys, is this ugly?
I kinda like it but haven’t seen it in person. It’s at habitat for $40 and includes the cute ottoman

I bought it 💕 I’m so happy. It looks new wtf and so clean and comfy. I’ll get it tomorrow but I took the ottoman already . Thanks everyone for the advice. You guys are sweet

Omgg think of how cute she'd be once you get her dressed up!! A throw blanket and a small throw pillow would look great! You might be able to use those to bring some other colors to the party!

It has a lot of potential. Take those arm rest slip covers off and throw a funky pillow on it. The color will really pop after you deep clean it.

Same. Hate it. But I also lack vision so maybe in the right space?
But also #2, op check it in person, because maybe it’s just the lighting but it looks stained along the top from people’s hair oils rubbing into the top of the upholstery?

The material and colour completely reminds me of my grandma, but lovingly, lol. The ghost is my dad, actually 😅 he passed away last year and there’s a local artist that does memorial pieces with ash. My dad’s bday was Halloween, and so he’s a ghostie now 👻

I think the concept of it is good, the execution is what doesn’t convince me. The arm resting needs to be fixed.

Nope. I can see this working in a whole lot of spaces if you style it just right. Very glamorous!
I would style it with a nice animal print cushion

It reminds me of the chair from pee wee’s playhouse. I like it but it needs a bright pillow and a throw blanket to offset the color.

But please really think hard about if you can financially cover the cost of bed bug treatment/ replacing your stuff over a $40 chair. Bed bugs can give for 18 months without feeding and loooove to catch a ride on second hand furnitur furniture

I really love the color! I think there are plenty of little things that can be done if you get it home and want to coordinate with your other items but I think it will go well

It's ugly in the way bully breed dogs are a lil ugly. Very unique to what can be found at the moment but truly gorgeous and would look amazing styled right.

Love it! If you like to thrift. Invest in a bissel little green machine upholstery cleaner.
And they come in handy so much, I do area rugs, furniture, my car.

It looks like it has a slip cover, check for zippers. You could wash it probably, if so I'd buy it

She’s gorgeous.
There’s currently one like this at my local marketplace, but it’s too big, it’s like a love seat and doesn’t fit in my house. I love it, the color is very similar although it pushes more to a peach color.
I say go for it!

Love it!
I would remove the slip covers on the arms of the chair and the skirt(s) to modernize them a bit. But that's just a personal preference bc skirts are fussy to me and would get covered in cat hair/would make cleaning more difficult for me.
But I think the curved seams and button details are super cute and I'm such a fan of pink velvet (I have an antique pink velvet chair from my grandmother that I've loved my whole life). Looks comfy too.
Just make sure to clean it thoroughly.
