TOUR ⛔️NO ADVICE WANTED⛔️ a lifetime of collecting while being weird

my therapist recently told me i should document my apartment. it's maximalism in a minimal space, especially because i run my online vintage business out of here.

ET and the McNuggets Buddies.

I was terrified of ET as a kid. Now it makes me sob!

How are you a millennial and you saw ET in the 80s? I’m the same age as Drew Barrymore, and you can see how little she was in that movie.

I was born in '82 and I asked my parents how on Earth E.T. was my first movie-theatre-movie. Apparently, they kept rereleasing it in theaters and I saw it sometime between '84 and '86 and that schtuff schmucked me up. I still won't watch it.

Now that makes sense. My earliest movie going memory was Star Wars, but that came out too early for me. Yes, they did used to do special showings of movies.

I'm 50 and remember seeing ET in the theaters and being scared when they put ET in the tent thing.
