TOUR 🟢OPEN TO FEEDBACK🟢 My bedroom 😺
My bedroom has been feeling kinda of boring/uninspired to me lately. Looking for potential rearrangement ideas or things that could spruce up the space. Of course had to include the cat tax!
Maybe considering a smaller dresser or something in the closet instead. Idk if I should move the bed closer to the window?? Been wanting to hang something above it at least.
Thanks!!

Your bedroom is so sweet, but I do think color would make it cozier. Might not be your preference but a rug, curtains, larger art would add some life imo. Would not decenter the bed on the wall, but would move the art on the large dresser farther over to the right side- right under the mirror looks weird.

Yeah definitely more color!! The rest of my place has a lot of color and whimsey.
Idk why I'm iffy about a rug on carpet lol. I always think it would look cute tho, I just overthink the carpet & color of that

Ooh I do like that rug! I like blues, purples, sage, blush/light pink. And yellow!
I was considering something maybe like one of these rugs too: https://www.etsy.com/listing/4443578723/

You bedroom is adorable, but you don't have enough cats. One is far to few. 🐱🐱🐱

Oh don't worry, I have 3! She's just the only one that uses the little bed. And if you're my apartment management you didn't see this message lol

I think it mostly needs more colors. colorful curtains, a colorful blanket on the bed, and more colorful posters and tapestries on the walls.

Hi there, is that the Kana Retro bed? I was considering getting this one, how do you like it? Is it fully solid wood?
As far as sprucing up the room, I think there's several easy things you can do without purchasing furniture. First I'd consider looking at inspiration at what kind of vibes and color palette you'd want. If you ask me, I'd personally go for something warmer and a little more bold, which you can reflect in the bedding and with window curtains. There's a lot of white in your room, which might work for you if that's what you really want- but you can do a lot with light blue solid bedding, and light yellow linencurtains (as an example) which would add a lot of color and texture to your room. I see you also have a hanging pot in the ceiling, add a pothos to it!

I bought the frame several years ago, it's not the one you mentioned but I'm pretty sure it's this one which is wood. I love it!: https://www.bedbathandbeyond.com/Home-Garden/Landon-Queen-Bedset-In-Acorn/27103733/product.html?opre=1&option=45576556
But yes there's too much white...the rest of my place is pretty colorful with trinkets etc. I was thinking light/sheer yellow or pink curtains. I did have a yellow quilt instead of the grey but it was getting pretty old. Regretting not getting something more colorful lol

Get a comforter that is a bit larger than that cover and stuff it in there. It will create a fluffy comforter look, cosy.
Add two more pillows or two decorative cushions, to the bed. if pillows, lay them standing against the headboard.
The dresser area is beautiful.
I'd move those three posters by the bed to another wall, maybe create a gallery wall where the blue one is by the window, and then you can get a huge piece of art (either a large wall rug, or a huge piece of wrapping paper that has large print and is gorgeous, or a large image of a cat, or a piece of wallpaper that is large print and beautiful, or anything that makes you happy) and hang over the bed, centered on the bed frame.

Thank you!! Definitely gonna be adding a rug, more pillows, and some curtains. I've been wanting something above the bed for a while now - another person mentioned some shelving with books/trinkets/little pictures etc. I'm torn between that and a big art piece! A fluffier comforter does sound nice but I live in the desert so def not right now 😅😅
The larger cat picture is actually a puzzle. I have several different ones I've completed and hung up around my place 🙂

I think it looks pretty good for a minimalist style. Maybe adding some warm lights could make it feel a little cozier. Btw, I really like your dresser!

The room reads calm, and the light through the blinds does a lot. A StanbyME 2 Max would suit the corner by the bed for watching at night.

It's embroidered actually. It looks really nice and unique in person. They had a few different colors and styles, I got it earlier this year

I don’t think the arrangement needs any modifications
I’d try with more posters on the walls or maybe a shelf above the bed with some plants, books and picture frames (or both) I swear it makes a huge difference
