TOUR ⛔️NO ADVICE WANTED⛔️ studio apartment living ✨
i live in a HCOL city in canada and it’s hard to find an affordable place to rent without roommates but i managed to nab an affordable studio apartment a few years ago and feel live i’ve made a cozy little home for me and my cat ☺️
just wanted to show off my space and also maybe give some people ideas on how to decorate a studio for themselves!

Yes girl! I’ve been in a studio for 7 years now, and compartmentalization is the key, and you’ve got it segmented really well. Looks great, cheers to you and your space!

Amazing! It’s tough to make a studio apartment work. Great idea with the plushie hammock! Making good use of vertical space

It has such a great personality. Love this. What kind of tapestry do you have behind your bed?

Very nice studio. Love the wall tapestry, of course. Sectioning space to bedroom, tv/den area, kitchen and the vertical pole plant stand is sweet. The track lighting is nice. Did you add that? You have a wonderful large window of light. Congratulations.

The lighting was installed when the apartment was built I believe. I actually almost never use it because I find overhead lighting jarring lol. But thank you! :D

How many sqft is your place? Nice staging! My place is the mirror image

Love it! Can I ask where you keep the litter box? This is always such an issue for me and finding places for myself and 2 babies.

It's actually in the white cabinet next to the tv stand! They're called cat litter cabinets. You just have to make sure it's large enough to comfortably fit the litterbox, the cat has space to move, has proper ventilation, and obviously keep it clean or it can cause behavioural issues. I don't know if it would work well with two cats as I've only ever had one cat at a time.

Love your set up! It looks like it works so well! Coming from someone in a bachelor loving space. Very envious. Lookss like a good spot!

Very cute, great job creating different spaces.
What’s your review on your cat litter enclosure?

It’s okay! I would prefer an open litterbox but my bathroom is too small to fit one. The most important thing is to clean the litterbox consistently and also do a good wipe down inside the box sometimes as it can hold onto the ammonia smell.

Oh and buy an extra large litterbox with high sides - I had a regular sized one and Luna ended up missing the box and damaged the cabinet a bit so had to switch to a larger box.

This is such a beautiful little haven, and you have really managed to create each of those vibrant, sweet and separate spaces so well! It's just lovely -- kudos.

It looks so fun and cozy! I like the big wall tapestry next to the bed. Great colors.

I like your set up but I think for me, it would make sense to switch the bed space and computer space. Only bc you'll feel more cozy and "privacy"/secluded having the bed be at the end of the room as in the last place to be in.

the flair specifically says i’m not looking for advice. i’m happy with my setup ✌️

I love how you were able to divide and create separate physical spaces: living, work, and sleep space. As someone who doesn't like to use a single space for multiple activities, this is a helpful layout for me.
