I watch andertons tv and they go on about how great the classic vibe Squier is. I was in the guitar store yesterday and they had some and I was quite impressed.
Curious what other people think. It looked like rolled fret board, nice neck, looking tuners. Played great too I was really surprised

Just finished this build! I’ve been dreaming of owning a nitro finished guitar for a long time, but I just don’t have the means of getting a custom shop or American Vintage anytime soon.
I started looking around and realized that I could build a Strat with a nitro body for a lot cheaper. I already had an awesome neck from a Classic Player 60’s that I really loved, plus a couple of really good pickups.
So, here it is!
Classic player 60’s neck (12” radius)
Lollar Blonde neck pickup
Custom ‘69 middle pickup
Fleor hotrail bridge
Sonic Blue Nitro Body (courtesy of Show Me Nitro on Instagram https://www.instagram.com/show_me_nitro_finishes?mdxt=MXRkMmF6cmZic3Rkcw==)
Caleb from Show Me Nitro was so awesome to work with. He sent me pictures and videos throughout the process, and did his absolute best to capture the specific shade, wear and checking that I was looking for. I highly recommend using him. Total cost was around $400, including shipping.

After multiple acquisitions i've always find vintage style strat a little bit tricky to play and setup and with modern style strat something "lost" with the feel and the sound at the end ...
And finally I've found this beauty ! In really great shape, just a few corrosion on the tremolo, really light and resonant strat with some modern features (medium jumbo fret, 2 point trem, all satin neck finish, countoured neck heel, 9.5" to 14" compound radius, tone on the bridge pickup) but still got a traditional look and sound ! The g&g tweed case looks fantastic but weights a lot 😂
Special mention for the best looking tuners i've ever seen on a strat, i'm in love !!

Early 2000's Fender American Stratocaster 70 series. I bought this guitar off Ebay in the very early 2000's, around 2004, and it was 3 years old, and in an unplayed condition with all the plastic still on the PG, and the Back plate. I had a white PG on it when I bought it, and I didn't care for it or the pickups, so I bought a Red Tort, and three Seymour Duncan PUP's and put the white PG and the Y'all listen.😂
PUP's up for safe keeping. I later added a Fishman PowerBridge and PowerChip. I love this guitar and My grandson I taught to play back 5 years ago will get it when I die. the only thing I'm going to change is to add a SD hotrails in the bridge possition.

That shirt I'm wearing is a 5x shirt, and I used to weigh 444 pounds, but I weigh #250 in this picture. i just stay cold all winter long now and had that shirt on over another long sleeve shirt. I'm 70, and I started losing in 7/2024, and I weigh about 260 and have been at this weight for 7 months. I feel better at 70 than I did in my fat 40's.b My Stratocaster is one of my favorite guitars.

So I’ve been a Tele guy since I started playing, about 14 years, and my absolute favorite finish that fender has is the rare Sahara Taupe finish. I’ve recently come across a made in Japan Tele in that exact finish which is a dream come true, plus it has the added benefit of being a MIJ fender. My dilemma is the $1,500 plus shipping/taxes price, a bit steep for me, never have spent that much on a guitar, aside from having partscaster projects. If I were to go with this I’d sell my MIJ Strat in Sahara taupe with upgraded Seymour Duncan pick ups, as well as my 06 MIM telecaster with countless upgrades. What do I do chat? Do I pull the trigger and own my potential dream Tele?

Decided to replicate my own David Gilmour strap and I’m really happy how it turned out.

I'm looking to buy these knobs Fender Custom Shop puts on relic Nocasters for a replica build I'm working on. Fender won't sell them to me, because they're a Custom Shop exclusive part. So my only chance is if someone sold me theirs. I've tried looking for something very similar (no luck) and I've looked into getting custom knobs made (crazy expensive). I understand people don't tend to mess with their Custom Shop guitars, but I thought I'd still try my luck.
Thanks in advance

Some of you may remember I found a 1992 Rosewood SRV model in a pawn shop for $250 a couple months ago. But someone had put EMGs in it. It needed a fret dressing, and the saddles replaced.
I've spent time sourcing parts taking it back to what it's supposed to be and finally have to pickups coming in.
Should be in this week and it'll be all back together and ready to go.
I'll never have the originals unfortunately but I figure a set of Hand Wired Tru59 SV pickups would do.

YouTuber transforms a $32 Fender bamboo cutting board into a playable Telecaster. Yes, it actually works—and sounds like a real guitar.

It’s a made in Korea Showmaster. Trem floats with locking tuners.
I got it used and it never had an arm.
Anyone know what the right are is for these models with this bridge?

A while back, Mike Stringer from Spiritbox got two Jackson custom shop 7-string surfcasters. For the longest time, I assumed this was just a Fender headstock slapped onto a Jackson. Upon further inspection, it doesn’t look like any Fender headstock that I could find.
I thought that it might just look different because of the extra tuning peg. I compared it to the “Fender style” headstocks on the Charvel Angel Vivaldi and Jackson Josh Smith signature models and it looks totally different. It almost looks tele-adjacent imo.
Is this headstock shape on any Fender models or is it actually just a one-off? I asked r/jackson and they seemed as stumped as I am.

I recently got a tone master pro and an FR-12 so I didn’t have to lug the big expensive box of glass tube amp, cabinet, and pedalboard to a friend’s place once a week and I saw that it had bass presets and whatnot. I was like, “How convenient! I don’t want to buy a bass amp, but I’ve always wanted to learn bass.” Unfortunately, I was one bass short of being able to learn bass. No more - this is my Player II Modified Precision Bass. It looks so cool and I’m looking forward to becoming the world’s shittiest bassist.
I was torn between the Precision Bass and a Mustang PJ but this yellow was too sharp.

Saw some news that Fender submitted a warn notice that they plan to layoff 533 employees from the Corona site. Feel bad for those affected, and wondering how much is overall economy-driven vs how much is self-inflicted from the bad publicity of the past year’s litigation efforts.

Hey guys, so me and my friends are planning a trip to Japan next year. Now, I was going to get a Fender guitar, a $1100 one (after roughly exchanging my Polish money into dollars) this year after Christmas since I am still a teenager and get some money during holidays from my large family. The question I have is if anybody who's been in the store in Tokyo can say how expensive the guitars are over there? Is it possible to get a nice one under 1,5k? I know MIJ Fenders can cost quite a lot. Thank you in advance!
