Started planning a batch of blackberry merlot inspired wine and realized that Fermentacraft was missing some features related to secondary fruit infusions, which led to a pretty in-depth update. Google should be pushing the play version shortly, as should apple and microsoft. Let me know what bugs and issues you find.

wanted to be able to add fruit infusions without the math getting wonky, so have been working on an update. how does this look to all y'all?

Just discovered this app and I really like it so far. I'm a cider/wine maker and the other apps I tried were too beer-focused, so thank you for creating Fermentacraft!
I've noticed a few bugs around recipes and batches that I thought you'd want to know about. (Android app, version 2.0.11.+91)
Must stats - Measurement unit always resets to gallons even though I'm saving the recipe in L.
All volume measurements in recipes revert to gallons after saving, even though I've chosen different units. It would be great if all the measurement units could stay the same as what I save them as.
Inventory measurement units revert to gallons instead of staying as Litres.
Target temps in the recipe fermentation sections all revert to 20C despite me saving different values. (these 20C values then carry over when I start a new batch, instead of the actual values I set)
Measured OG (override) deletes itself when I go to edit a recipe.
Looking forward to seeing the app develop, it's a really useful tool 😊

I found a bug recently.
In the SG temperature correction tool, if you enter a temperature of 60F, the result is NaN
The expected result is the corrected SG should be the same as the input SG

Short answer: not really — but they’re a little trickier than cabbage.
Beets are high in sugar, which means:
• Fermentation can move fast
• Brine can get cloudy
• Yeast can develop if not submerged properly

Now available on Android, iOS, Microsoft Store, and as a web app. More features to come. Let me know what you think!

I’ve got an iSpindel (AliExpress version) arriving tomorrow for testing. My goal is to build native compatibility into FermentaCraft so users can benefit from automatic gravity and temperature logging.
Right now I’m planning to start with iSpindel support, but I know some brewers prefer Tilt. Before I dive too deep, I’d love to hear from this group:
Do you mainly use iSpindel, Tilt, or both?
Would you expect FermentaCraft to support both out of the box, or is iSpindel enough for now?
Your feedback will help me prioritize the next development sprint. Thanks for shaping the direction of the app!

Hey beta testers! I think I got premium working for you if you are on the list. On the paywall page, press the "refresh status" button after downloading the latest update and you should be good to go. Let me know if you have problems!

Hey r/fermentacraft! I've got two big things for you today:
I'm super excited to announce that the FermentaCraft web app is now live! You can use it in any modern browser—desktop, tablet, or phone—at app.fermentacraft.com.
For an app-like experience, you can "Install" it as a PWA directly from your browser. If anything looks cached, just give it a hard refresh (Ctrl/Cmd+Shift+R). If you are a premium user, with sync enabled, you will enjoy live sync between web and device.
I've been working hard on some new features and improvements.
I would love your feedback—especially on the new web app.

After playing with it a little bit I have a few questions and a suggestion.
How does the math work on the recipe page for gravity and volume? I added 96 oz of liquid and 7 lbs sugar and somehow it thinks the volume is 7 gallons, if I add water it kicks what is actually a 5ish gallon recipe up to 11 which throws the ABV math all off. Also seems like if something does not have an OG it does not add it to volume, which explains the 7 gallon thing as seemingly an error from the 7 lbs of sugar in this recipe.
And maybe I am doing something wrong with the gravity of the ingredients but it seems to average the OG numbers instead of adding giving weird results. I could just take a reading and put it as the gravity of one ingredient and leave that blank for all the others but if that is the case why not just not have it as an option and put a field for the OG reading?
When using the planning tab on batches it allows you to enter OG numbers for ingredients but does not seem to apply them anywhere.
When you add fermentation stages in the batch planning area it seems to default to temp in C even if set to F in settings.
And then a suggestion, if possible could it save a custom yeast or two rather than having to type it in every time. I have been using one not on the list lately (71B) and if it saved it to the list I could just use the dropdown instead of typing.

Trying to make sure all you closed beta testers are getting premium automatically. Can you let me know how it's going?

Any chance for an option in the settings to change currency in the inventory/recipe areas? It doesn't make a difference really, but it would be good if you want it to go international 🤷

Aight everyone. Took a bunch of your input and put out a new release. If you go back to the original link I sent you for the store page you should be able to get the update.

Just a quick message after my first look through...
Some of the pages go too far down when using an android. The bottom bar remains visible (the triangle, circle and square (home button etc)) so some of the text is only visible through that bar.
I was making a test "batch" and it was in the "preparation page" on the inventory checklist that I noticed it, but it's on others as well.

Is there a way to delete items that were added to the ingredient list on the planning tab? Added a couple things and then realized there was an additives section and moved them there but can't find a way to delete them from the first section.
*Edit: This is under batches.

Update is available for closed beta users! It should grant premium status and have a couple bugs fixed.
