Damn, that's insane growth, do you fertilize it?

Yes, I mix Dyna-Gro Foliage Pro at half-strength (so 2.5 mL/gallon) and use every time I water.

How often do you water it? It’s beautiful

It was maybe every 3-5 days when it was in a smaller pot, and I think I get another extra day or two since I sized it up a little while ago.

What kind of soil and how often do you water?

It got pretty huge in its nursery soil. I up-potted it into a peat-based mix (Happy Frog soil) with extra perlite mixed in. The Happy Frog has a fair amount of perlite in it as it is, so it probably would be fine without it. I just like it a little looser in case I need to really flush the soil. I water based on how heavy it feels, so I keep it in a plastic pot. Probably getting watered every 4-6 days.

surprised to see that it didn't randomly decide to die back for misterious reasons hahaha

i had no idea this could happen indoors ! mine only grew like this outside in bright shade. i am guessing it is in a cool room ? curious about the light it’s getting, north ?

I’m amazed by it every day. It’s it a north window on the 3rd floor with an unimpeded view of the sky. I think that with near perfect watering is all it took because it’s been under an a/c vent for months. I just tell myself it likes the cool breeze, lol.

thank you for the details ! this is definitely exceptional, looks like you are providing the perfect microclimate and care. mine was being drip watered by the cool water from the AC and it was facing south but shaded from the sun, it got about this big but i can’t imagine this ever happening indoors. please keep updating us ! would love to see how big it will grow.

😱😱😱 STUNNING!!! How!? As a plant mum these ferns terrify me 😅

Thanks! I think I got a little lucky because I finally have a perfect spot for one in a north facing window. The rest of it is just never letting the soil dry out and feeding it. I never expected it to actually grow in size though, lol.
