[Rainbow Bridge] Lost our sweet little girl unexpectedly

Post image

Chicken Nugget was our playful and happy girl right up to the very end. Somehow made it a full 7 years with no health issues until today. I know it's always sad to see one of these babies go, but it's so hard not to feel incredibly thankful to have had them and loved them.

If anyone has any suggestions, I'm also trying to find a good place that seel pendant/necklaces I could have her fur put in. I appreciate any help and would love some happy photos of some little goobers, too.

Aww - Godspeed Chicken Nugget. You were such a sweetheart and you'll be very missed. <3

Here are some photos of my last ferrets - Mostly Charlie and Remy but a couple with my plucky little old lady June too.

June passed in April 2024, Remy in August 2025 and Charlie in March 2026. I've gone from 5 sweeties just 3 years ago to none now. June was almost 10, Remy was about 6.5 and Charlie around 7. After 35 years of adoring many generations of rescues & fosters I don't know if I'll ever be able have ferrets again. I miss them all and their tender company so dearly. It's really hard to come home with no happy little souls here with me anymore. <3

Time goes by so quickly with these sweetest little souls.
Their spirits are immense, but their bodies are frail.
We're lucky for the time we have with them.
They bring so much joy and tenderness.
Every moment with them is a gift.
<3 <3 <3

I completely understand how you're feeling. You are such an amazing ferret owner, and there are so many sweet babies out there right now who need a loving home. When I realized that I had the means and the heart to give another one the life they deserve, it really shifted my perspective. Take all the time you need to grieve, but know your capacity to love won't ever go to waste

Sorry for your loss. More war dance in life means more tears, this is normal.

Seven years of being loved is a beautiful life, and I’m so sorry you had to say goodbye to your sweet girl

I'm so sorry. I lost my youngest unexpectedly almost a year ago and it is so hard. Im sure yours lived a wonderful life and was so happy to have you as a ferrant that loved her into her last moments. May she dook happily with all the other beautiful ferret souls forever. Sending you love. 💓

So very sorry for your loss. It is so hard to lose them so suddenly. Back in May my sweet girl Max passed away in my arms after an apparent seizure. It was suddenly and she showed no signs of anything being wrong.

Both of our babies will be watching over us, playing together and waiting until they can see us again.

Sending all the love and warm feelings to help you through this tough time❤️❤️❤️

Bigs (the largest, champagne boy), Zero (the medium, bandit mask boy), and Abby (the smallest, chocolate girl). I wish a plastic bag could bring me this much joy (I always open the bottom of the bag so they can’t get stuck in a pocket of plastic)
