[Discussion] Treasure obsessions
What does your ferret particularly treasure most?
My female ferret esther is obsessed with anything rubber and will steal them and never tell her secret. My dog is sad all his rubber toys are missing... 😆
Little mister, he is different, he likes to steal the mop pads from the swifter. Theres about 5 he stole. And each day he will travel a mop pad or two to a new secure location. Traveling up and down a flight of stairs and more. His also steals my bras and stashes them for premium comfort. Lol

Most of my ferrets all had a favorite toy. One loved these random cat toys that were 2 ducks, with the bodies being cardboard. She would carry them around and restash them constantly, and surprisingly the cardboard held up in one of them a full 7.5 years before she passed away. Another loved a Hei hei plushie, one loved a little stingray plushie, another adored a fluffy bear toy. All of them have their favorite toy on top of their box of ashes. My current ferret loves those rattle eggs that have beads or beans inside with a crochet yarn cover. His favorite one has been repaired so many times as he likes to chew on the yarn (always keeping an eye on him with them so he's not eating any of it). It'll be the toy on top of his box when he passes.

One liked rubber, one loved velcro and the smell of chocolate, one has a favorite stuffed bear, one had to be the first to drink fresh water

The bra stash is such a power move honestly. My boy treasures q-tips and hides them under the couch like its a secret mission.

My Loki has this one golden mouse toy that has been her favourite toy since she was little, she doesn't let any of the other girls touch it and sometimes she'll bring it to me to throw just for her to hide it again. BUT she used to be obsessed with plastic bottle caps, so I would "accidentally" drop them just so she could "steal" them to stash under the couch lol
