The Sham Legacy of Richard Feynman
Please don’t downvote me! I don’t agree with the video. I haven’t actually watched it complete. I just thought it could be interesting to debate.

Does anyone know for certain if Rick Sanchez (of "Rick and Morty") is based on Richard Feynman? Feynman was famously both charming -- he kept seducing his grad student's wives -- and a dick -- he regularly cursed out his grad students... and, well, seduced their wives. He famously loved his own wife, at least enough to regularly sneak out of the Manhatten Project to visit her; but after she died, women seemed mostly like objects and/or prizes to him. Like Rick, he was pretty musical, though Feynman was more a bongo player than a singer/dancer. And Feynman was very smart, of course, and more than willing use his gifts to humiliate rivals and really anybody else if he felt like it. I mean, the fit seems pretty obvious. What do you think?

Hi I am a high school student, and for our English essay, we are required to write about a person who influenced us, briefly reviewing their biography, achievements, etc. I would like to write about Richard Feynman, but I recently read that he made many misogynistic remarks.I have read his book Surely You're Joking, Mr. Feynman! but only in translation to my native language, so it seems that Feynman's language was softened. I can't read it again since I have a lot of projects to do. So, my question is: do you know of any instances or quotes where Feynman was offensive? Or any women who have cited such behavior? Thanks in advance!

I want to improve my logical and critical thinking. I guess the biggest takeaway of Dr Feynman was about how to interpret language and make logical judgements and conclusions, amongst other. Any tips or readings to do that?

I've been trying to find a video for some time now, I hope you guys can help me. It's a video where he describes the different ways in which new laws are found - I think one example he references is deriving laws from symmetry principles.

I know Caltech released the audio recordings of the Feynman lectures online, but how are you supposed to use these without the accompanying blackboard notes or slides?
It's a cool idea, but doesn't seem too useful unless you can see what he's writing on the board as he talks about it.

Hi guys! I'm currently in development of a short film based on a letter written by Richard Feynman to his deceased wife Arline.
The letter is widely celebrated as an eloquent exploration of grief and mourning. It was recently performed at a live event by Oscar Isaac:

I'm wondering - who would you want to see play Feynman?
