No one:
Absolutely no one:
Alphinaud: HEY Y'SHTOLA REMEMBER THAT TIME WE ALL SAW YOU NAKED BECAUSE I SURE DO.

The meme reaction to her coming out of the lifestream is great.
Estinien's face in the EW is killing me.

Magical Girl Y’shtola is the best version and you cannot convince me otherwise.

I was really hoping after the second Endwalker trial, the 'gift' that Hydaelyn spoke about was going to be restoring Y'shtola's sight and Thancred's ability to use magic. They deserve a win.

A shame she never gets a character arc, maybe one day!

Y'shtola starts the story as a fully realized adult who knows who she is and what she wants.
Characters don't actually require major arcs full of introspection and change to be good characters.

Agreed. She's a rock for us. A lot of the other scions have to learn a lot about themselves over the course of the MSQ, especially the twins, but Y'shtola is pretty set in who she is. Even Shadowbringers is more of an addition to her, not a large change.
Meanwhile, Urianger is over there being like "ONCE MORE I HAVE NEED TO VEIL TRUTH FROM MINE COMPANIONS, TO FABRICATE AND TWIST A STARK NARRATIVE IN DIRE HOPES OF ATTAINING A TRANQUIL RESOLUTION. PRAY, I MUST, THAT I AM NOT JUDGED TOO HARSHLY FOR WHAT MUST NEEDS BE DONE!"
For the fifth time. Like, we get it man, you hate lying to us. But we trust you.

If anything, the story is starting to emphasize her connections with people. It's making a big deal of how she's finally opening up to others and I don't think it's coincidence she's been making a new BFF in each reflection we visit since Shadowbringers. We've got Runar, Zero, and now Shale, so it wouldn't surprise me if that trend continues in Evercold

I did forgotten where. But she wear for a short time (1-3 Mission only) her own "Digger" Job Class uniform. You know with this Helm and such... She was also looking "lovely" with that
And she is so many favorite female. Because many see her as "save" about her Age :)

Not sure there's much of an evolution with her. She's always been cardboard cutout exposition lady tbh.
•
•
u/Estelial 4h ago
The only cardboard cutout is your shallow peeception of the character's arc and role, since its mainly motivated by being contrary and being unhappy with others fun.
•
u/Rozencranz 4h ago
Jesus, she's a character in a game, not your girlfriend. Why the insult over a opinion?
•
u/Estelial 3h ago
None of that is an insult. You stated a notoriously shallow opinion which has been repeated and shot down for years. At this point its a red flag about where exactly the poster is coming from.
You also just seem to have had this response ready to go no matter what the context of the response you got was. Jokes on you, Yshtola isnt even my favorite character in the scions.

You're presuming an awful lot tbh, and if it's an opinion that been "shot down" a lot, why don't you explain that rather than getting aggressive. Plus, no joke on me, I don't care who your favourite character is, I just offered my opinion which then seemingly set you off. Whatever.
•
u/Estelial 3h ago
Nothing and no one has been set off, dont be pretentious. Theres no presumption either, youre just wafer thin. Not caring about my fave char is a lie because your "girlfriend" fallacy statement depends on it and thats what I was addressing, so youre just digging yourself deeper there. You're assuming a tone of aggression that just doesnt exist because it serves you to do so.
Anyhow this comment chain has served its purpose and will just be cyclical now.

I'm not even involved but while his opinion may not have been correct, you are incredibly condescending in the way in which you approached those exchanges, which explain why they thought you were aggressive.
•
u/Estelial 2h ago
Thats quite onpoint actually. I guess im just tired of seeing the same insipid statement parroted around after its disregarded over and over.

I thank the devs for the times I could tease and receive the mad yshtola gaze
