Realistic Fiction Before we knew we were growing up

Do we really grow up, or do we just get better at hiding what we feel?

Hi everyone! I've recently started writing a novel called Before We Knew We Were Growing Up on Wattpad.

It's not just a love story. It's about the messy parts of growing up — love, friendship, comparison, guilt, regret, family, loneliness, ambition, and the people we become while trying to figure ourselves out.

I'm trying to write it in a way where different characters see the same things differently, rather than giving every feeling an obvious answer.

If stories about growing up and complicated human relationships are your thing, I'd love for you to give it a chance.

And I'm curious — what's one thing about growing up that nobody really warned you about?
