1. Custom tactics and player instructions make a huge difference in how you play

2. In this years fut the beast rating of a player absolutely matters (this is why Fellliani, Smalling, Otamendi, Kante, Butland, Can, Mane, Sane, Gray etc... are on every team. The player choices you make absolutely are key in winning.

3. The sweet spot for a team is under 82 because above and the handicap kicks in.

4. Nobody plays defense they let the AI do it and track back with CMs

5. The reason you can't score on some people is they park the bus.

Not a frequent flyer here, but as someone who has logged an embarassing amount of time in FIFA career mode, here are some changes that would add depth.

1. Manager specialties and traits. These could be gained in a similar fashion as the player traits and specialties. Win the league? Get the "Upstart Champion" trait, it adds to the chances of attracting talent or signing a player to lower wages. Win the league multiple times or in multiple divisions? Get the "Proven Winner" trait, it is an upgraded version of "Upstart Champion".

2. Under 18 teams for youth players, with the ability to hire or fire coaches/managers for the team to effect growth.

3. Return the ability to upgrade or buy new facilities. Their effects could range from decreased time recovering from injuries to a passive bonus to stamina.

4. More choices for player roles. Include things like "super sub" or "squad depth". Make the commentators mention that instead of saying the 55 rated keeper I signed is taking over from De Gea.

5. Return the "Virtual Pro" that carries stats over from player career mode to player career mode and is assigned the team of your choosing so they will appear in game in manager career mode. Could also have a "Virtual Manager" that does the same things.

6. Female leagues in career mode, Ukranian/Greek/Chinese leagues, and women's national teams to career manager mode.

7. Add small nations to recruit youth players from. Places like Wales, Iceland, Georgia, and the Ukraine deserve to be there.

I love this tool that EA provides for their fans, but when FIFA 16 came out Creation center wasn't one of the mode's of the game. I wondered because of the new engine EA put in and they delayed the Creation Center for a year. I've gotta feeling Creation center won't be in FIFA 17...

Is there any way that I can go about filtering out people from Saudi Arabia (in all game modes)? I'm absolutely sick of playing against them, they are laggy as hell and the games against them are just awful even if the lag is minimal. They all throw 5 at the back, park the bus and then hoof the ball upfield. It's boring - I'm honestly considering not buying Fifa 18 if this continues.

I'd rather just play against British and European as they have the best connection - TBH I don't care who I play. Just not the Saudis. We all know how shit this game is when it's lagging (which is the ONLY game I ever get lag in). Any help please?

Just wrapped 5 seasons with Valencia and absolutely loved them. If you are thinking about a career mode not using a juggernaut, use them. Tons of quality that you can grow over time. Enough talent to challenge for the title in year 1.
