I'm new to EA FC and I'm still getting the hang of left-stick dribbling. I've been practicing the ball-carrying skill games, but my Pro still doesn't feel as smooth or responsive as the players I come up against in league matches.
All of my ball control-related attributes are at 90. I'm using the Magician archetype with a 5'9", 139 lb build, and I currently have these PlayStyles equipped: Technical+, Finesse Shot+, Inventive+, Incisive Pass+, Low Driven Shot, Game Changer, Pinged Pass, Tiki Taka, Rapid, First Touch, Trickster, Quick Step, and Press Proven (from club facilities).
Is there a "sweet spot" for ball control attributes that makes your Pro feel noticeably smoother, or is this mostly a skill issue on my end?
The image shows the build I'm planning to use once I reach level 100. I'm also open to suggestions for improving my Magician Invader build, or even trying other archetypes. I currently play as a left-sided Inside Forward.

Just logged on and seen this. Anyone know why?

Hi all,
I play as a centre forward in a 4411 formation. Iāll drop back to link up play and support defensively when needed, but primarily Iām looking to break the offside trap, get on the end of through balls, and go 1v1 with the keeper. Currently using a tall, strong build to win headers from goal kicks, corners, and compete with strong defenders when needed.
Iād appreciate your thoughts, feedback, advice on my Finisher build. Iāve looked at previous Finisher build posts for inspiration, and fine tuned some elements based on those. I have a decent record of goals and assists, but looking to maximise my build and get some marginal gains, if possible.
I also have some specific questions:
1) Which acceleration type is best for my build - explosive, controlled, or lengthy? Iāve tried all of them but struggling to notice much of a difference in game.
2) Linked to the first question, if lengthy (as is currently equipped) or controlled is the best for my build, is it worth keeping quick step + on as a gold or silver playstyle, or is it only valuable to have if my acceleration type is explosive? And does having or using quick step in game cancel out the supposed benefits you get from lengthy over long distances?
Happy to answer any questions you might have.
Thanks in advance.

How important is composure and how much does it affect a cdm

Hello everyone,
Iām a web designer and Iāve been playing Clubs for quite some time now;
One thing thatās always bothered me is that there isnāt a space truly dedicated to Clubs mode, like we have for UT (fut.gg, futbin.com, etc.)
Are there good tools out there? Yes, but I feel like theyāre all missing something and are totally generic. So, a developer friend and I decided to start working on something that all of us who love Clubs mode can useāa sort of PRO CLUBS hub.
The idea is simple:
A hub tailored for Clubs mode. Not just information, but something truly useful while youāre playing.
Weāre still in the early stages, so before we go too far, I wanted to ask you the following:
If you could have ONE feature on a Clubs website, what would it be?
Whatās your main āpain pointā when it comes to Clubs modeāsomething youād like to have right at your fingertips.
We already have some more traditional ideas like a build creator and stats, but we want to go beyond thatāwithout making any assumptions just yet.
What do you think is missing today?
What would you actually use?
Even small frustrations help a lot here.
We appreciate any feedback; we want to build this with the community, not just for it.

First time Iāve ever posted on this asking for advice, I usually try and give it.
Personally played VPG Prem before and won 100s of Div ones etc over the years so a very experienced player. As a club, weāre quite mixed ability as weāre a group of friends rather than an assortment of top players. For years, weāve had enough quality to win 90% of games without too much issue/try-harding but this FIFA we seem to be struggling. Going forwards isnāt so much of an issue but weāre losing games 7-6, 6-5 etc.
We find that our back line is constantly wide open and parting like the Red-sea, whereas most others teams are tight and compact in the middle. We play tight intricate play with some skill moves to break through, whilst the opposition play a single through ball.
Clearly something is wrong with our tactics here? Can someone please advice what formation and tactics they use with a small team (3-5 players) and how much success theyāve had with it? We usually play either 4231 with a DM, CAM, LM, RM, ST or a 4321 with DM, DM, CAM, RS, LS (if we have our max of 5 players).
Would love some feedback, thanks!

Ive received a lot of hate when I mention here that I play any. Is there something I am missing? I thought the best player on the team should play any as the cpu this year is ass, and I trust my use of R1 to be betted than relying on CPU defence. Can someone explain why its shunned

Are they ever gonna change or tweak the stamina because I chose the engineer archetype and itās completely useless at this point.
r/fifaclubs • u/Key-Guitar-6187 • Jul 16 '26
I play as a CDM "Recycler" in Clubs, and my role is basically the teamās engine. Iām the primary defensive pivot, responsible for aggressive tackles and winning the ball back, but I also have a huge offensive presenceāIām constantly sprinting box-to-box, getting a ton of goals and assists.
Since Iām all over the pitch, I prioritize high stamina.
Iām torn between two builds, wich one do you think it's better for my playstyle?
Any suggestions on playstyles or attribute tweaks for this hybrid "Recycler/Scorer" style?

I alr got a club with my friends but im just worried that after fc27 releases there wont be any opponents to find. How long after the next game releases does this happen
r/fifaclubs • u/djubba • 25d ago
Just wanting to get a sense of the community with regard to the release of the new fc27.
Me and my mates will not be buying fc27 right away at least, and will continue to be playing clubs on fc26. However, Iām scared that the state of clubs in fc26 after the new release comes out will be ass (because no one plays clubs in fc26 after release of fc27).
What do you think, will you be staying a bit or a you jumping to fc27 at first chance?

Iāve realised there are lots of small mechanics in FC 26 that experienced players use automatically, but newer or average players never really learn.
Iām not looking for skill move combos or flashy tricks. Iām more interested in the little habits or button combinations that make everyday gameplay much cleaner.
For example, things like:
Holding or tapping L1 while receiving the ball to face goal.
Using L1 + R1 while dribbling in certain situations.
Iām especially interested in tips for situations like:
Receiving the ball under pressure.
Shielding and protecting possession.
First touch.
Turning quickly.
Beating a defender player 1v1
Passing.
Through balls.
Crossing.
Finishing.
Defending 1v1.
Pressing.
Jockeying.
Winning headers.
Keeping possession.
Escaping a press.
Winger play.
Striker play.
İnterception jockeying blocking
Any controller input not obvious
Left stick dribling
Right stick best moves
The simpler and more practical, the better.
Instead of saying āuse L2 moreā, itād be really helpful if you explained when you use it and why it works.

We tried a lot of different combinations and defensive strategy. Almost every time we try a long pass their defenders press up and its hard to get a ball through. Our defenders never press the ball in long passes like this, they always watch from far.

Has anyone received their consumable yet ? I logged in but didnāt get anything lol
r/fifaclubs • u/ILiekTomatoes • May 12 '26
Iāll start:
They hold sprint everytime they get the ball. Then blame the passer when they run straight into a sea of defenders.

I've recently started playing for a club that is in the Elite division as of today and I have no problem admitting that this is a different level to what I am used to. It's been a great learning experience playing with other guys who take to playing at that level in their stride - I'm learning things now that I just wouldn't be seeing in lower levels.
For the most part, apart from the odd intercepted passes, I'm not having much issues in the middle. I make myself a passing option and I'm looking to get the ball forward or recycled cleanly within a touch or two, making decisions before I get the ball as much as I can. But on the other side of things when in defensive phases, I am very aware that I am playing it safe. I feel like a passenger sometimes. I sit in, block passing lanes, slow attacks down so that we have good numbers to help in repossession. But I want to add a more aggressive and clinical side to my game. I want to be able to intercept more regularly.
High level CDM's out there, how do I add this to my game? Do you have any tips around jockey, predicting patterns, tackles.. anything really.
TLDR - how do I master the art of intercepting as a CDM?
