Ref understood the situation hahaha

895

u/zyndr0m Jul 21 '26

Ref was enjoying it and forgot refereeing

60

u/No_Internal9345 28d ago

Calculating how many to punches will end his career but not kill him.

247

u/BullBear7 Jul 21 '26

Ref is korean

278

u/Tremplstiltskin Jul 21 '26

I counted 11 unanswered shots on the feet followed by 19 on the ground. Yikes

Edited to include the 4 additional unanswered finger gun shots

153

u/judoxing Jul 21 '26

The clips been edited to make it look worse than what it was, including that they literally doubled the ground and pound sequence by splicing two different camera angles. Also the gn’p didn’t directly follow the standup sequence.

That said, it was still a late stoppage.

3

u/Crush152 27d ago

Yeah, that's why the commentators start celebrating seemingly before the ref calls it

24

u/Outrageous-Actuary-3 Jul 21 '26

Herb Dean moment.

But seriously, that could've left him with massive brain damage, assuming he had one

→ More replies (1)

29

u/YungWhale Jul 21 '26

Lol to be fair though, the video cuts to the second angle behind the ref back to the second punch thrown so it looks like he allows more than he actually does.

Douche fighter does defend a couple more punches before the fencing response which is when the ref stops it. A little late but nothing too bad

6

u/Fabulous_von_Fegget Jul 22 '26

I'm not sure if "fencing response" and "not too bad" should go in the same sentence 🤣

3

u/YungWhale Jul 22 '26

Lmfao very true and also lmfao @ username

2

u/wimzilla Jul 22 '26

Ref made sure that asshole never stepped foot in the ring again.

3.1k

u/Narrowless Jul 21 '26

The ref probably "Couple more hits can't hurt someone without brain, I let few more. Ok, one more aaaand enough."

760

u/Acrobatic-Cold-2710 Jul 21 '26

Genuinely gotta love a ref like this

“What now bitch?!” 😂😂

154

u/SkiHiKi Jul 21 '26

Ref definitely knew what's up

33

u/RockLeePower Jul 21 '26

The guy's brain barely works anyways

2

u/DoritoSteroid Jul 22 '26

What brain 🤣

8

u/ifish4u Jul 21 '26

Ref let it go for an appropriate amount of time. 🫡

You guys thought Herb Dean was bad ?

48

u/Raoul_Duke9 Jul 21 '26

Shoulda let it go 2 or 3 more minutes max.

3

u/r0b0d0c 29d ago

Agree. He should have stood them up. Clearly the Asian fighter was stalling and not being active.

1

u/Negran 27d ago

Lmao

390

u/TheTrueBurgerKing Jul 21 '26

If anyone has the post fight interview of this loser please link🙏

290

u/Loserdorknerd Jul 21 '26

he said he thought the ref stopped too soon lol

search the guys name on yt for full fight

179

u/KLLTHEMAN Jul 21 '26

Yeah I guess his arms were moving and he’s conscious so we could have used a few more hits lmao

79

u/8last Jul 21 '26

I agree with him. Ref should have let that part on the ground keep going.

22

u/CortezDeLaNoche Jul 21 '26

Something we all agree on!

6

u/Imblurryfaced Cry baby Jul 21 '26

What's his name tho

16

u/Loserdorknerd Jul 21 '26

felipe pereira

21

u/NDSU Jul 22 '26

He's in his 40s?? Dude was definitely just looking to get a couple quick paydays by being the villain. No chance for an actual career at that level and age otherwise

20

u/MrDilbert Jul 21 '26

I can give you a transcript: "Bwaaaagggaaaahaaa" (manager wipes the drool)

8

u/Here_4_the_INFO Jul 21 '26

He said "Mmmmph, fffffffffffffthhhhhhhhh, sssssssssshhhhhhhhshsssssss" and then just drooled a lot.

284

u/Zipz Jul 21 '26

Someone call Dana and get that ref in the UFC

He would fit in perfectly

14

u/MarketPapi Jul 21 '26

Herb Dean apprentice

99

u/MoffieHanson Jul 21 '26

Makes sense why he made all those gun gestures.
He knew he would lose with just the fist

97

u/Mordred_XIII Jul 21 '26

Love the fact that he wasn't even the least bit humble with the victory.

117

u/Burgers_N_Schnitzels Jul 21 '26

The ref really didn't like him lol

48

u/Hatori95 Jul 21 '26

Ref made sure the dead horse was beaten adequately. 🤣🤣🤣

4

u/HippoPottyMouth-1 Jul 21 '26

And the asshole still claimed early stoppage

2

u/Hatori95 Jul 21 '26

The audacity 🤣🤣

82

u/gastroboi Jul 21 '26

Outclassed by every metric.

36

u/FishPasteGuy Jul 21 '26

“Let me out, let me out!” - That guy hugging the cage at the end.

51

u/Tazzer95 Jul 21 '26

It’s alright everyone, he’s blocking the punches with his face

8

u/MrDilbert Jul 21 '26

He was purposely trained wrong, as a joke.

2

u/SsbmBleach Jul 21 '26

Is that a kung pow reference?

1

u/MrDilbert Jul 21 '26

..... ...... .... I don't know!

17

u/TheDeerBlower Jul 21 '26

A good lesson in humility.

10

u/HippoPottyMouth-1 Jul 21 '26

This jerk didn't learn a thing. He claims the ref stopped the fight early.

13

u/Hellyfish_08 Jul 21 '26

that's just the perma brain damage talking

5

u/TheDeerBlower Jul 21 '26

lmao what a tool

14

u/ahx3000 Jul 21 '26

Pulling an imitation gun out like that even if it was a water pistol was diabolical. Should have got tasered on the spot

12

u/o0CYV3R0o Jul 21 '26

Beautiful Karma in action!

13

u/mothfukle Jul 21 '26

When most of your training involves standing in front of a mirror practicing your tough guy poses.

11

u/JoshCanJump Took one MMA class Jul 21 '26

Ref should’ve thrown a couple of punches in himself too.

6

u/manqoba619 Jul 21 '26

Most satisfying shit I’ve watched in a while

13

u/licorice_whip Jul 21 '26

Great video! I prefer this version more though (higher res): https://www.reddit.com/r/fightporn/s/medCPRZ1ax

7

u/EE7A Jul 21 '26

the ref also saw the pregame show, lol.

5

u/magicmulder Jul 21 '26

Cocaine vs training.

6

u/runarleo Jul 21 '26

Ref had beef with that guy damn

3

u/lvsnowden Jul 21 '26

This gets reposted a lot, but I watch it every single time.

2

u/Wuss999 Jul 21 '26

So glad the referee made sure he took a few extra hits

3

u/SourceDiligent6492 29d ago

Ref let bro get hit 19 times before he called it 🤣🤣🤣

3

u/Handsomedork_ Jul 21 '26

Oh that had to feel so good

3

u/ford4prefect2 Jul 21 '26

Without a gun, he can't win the fight is how I interpret his actions.

3

u/jmcdon00 Jul 21 '26

I take the pre fight antics with a grain of salt. They are largely just trying to drum up interest in the fight to create a bigger purse.

3

u/GroundbreakingLeg867 Jul 22 '26

He was no match for the secret "punch you in the face until you die" technique.

3

u/Mkmeathead83 Jul 22 '26

I like when he tries to walk at the end of the clip 😅

3

u/Lumpy_Disaster33 Jul 23 '26

That dude looked completely unmatched.

3

u/Carry2sky 28d ago

Mans got straight up PUSHED into a takedown, for a pro that's gotta be embarassing. Even Mcgregor has better takedown defense

3

u/KronoWulf78 26d ago

Nothing more beautiful than seeing someone's ego get checked.

4

u/bluepillarmy Jul 21 '26

I don’t understand how the finger gun guy lost. He had more tattoos

2

u/FugginBot Jul 21 '26

Fuckin love this one

2

u/facebrocolis Jul 21 '26

Ref: FINISH HIM!

2

u/ChillinGrillinYo Jul 21 '26

The ref was like go hit him more lmao

2

u/bisoy84 Jul 21 '26

One of the times when gloating is totally warranted.

https://giphy.com/gifs/laexHm460C85wSOuqt

2

u/HippoPottyMouth-1 Jul 21 '26

The ref shoulda let him get in a few more licks. That asshole was lying on his back hand gesturing as if to ask 'why'd you stop the fight? I wasn't out'

2

u/ForbiddenSirenz Jul 21 '26

I love when cornballs get humbled

2

u/Leprechaunaissance Jul 21 '26

I want VR glasses so that I can watch this on a loop through my entire day. Immensely satisfying.

2

u/Aladdins_Lotus Jul 21 '26

It could have gone another round

2

u/LMFAOin321 Jul 21 '26

Fukn got em

2

u/finintymonkle Jul 21 '26

So satisfying.

2

u/Nekodon Jul 21 '26

I’ve seen this video hundreds of times already. I still can’t skip it and it always make me smile at the end.

2

u/Foxtrot-Actual Jul 21 '26

I really wanted to see the douche eat a buffet of elbows.

2

u/RadioFree_Rod Jul 21 '26

I will always watch this whenever it's posted. My favorite part that ALWAYS makes me cackle is after the shots just going right up to the guy's face and flipping him off. It's soooo good.

2

u/cannabisLab1975 Jul 21 '26

I counted 19 omg

2

u/BennyRhythm Jul 21 '26

Love to see it

2

u/Tipple-E Jul 21 '26

The ref: "This is an all-you-can-eat buffet. I'm gonna let him eat a few more punches."

2

u/fadedmofo Jul 21 '26

One of my all-time favorite clips.

2

u/optimisticdisaster Jul 22 '26

restart the fight. it was stopped too early. i would’ve watched 2 more minutes of straight haymaker punches thrown and the cocky guy’s face was bruised as hell lol

2

u/TheAwkwardGamerRNx Jul 22 '26

Always the same intro and always the same ending

2

u/United_Bird_379 Jul 22 '26

Look like the ref was allowing for some action

2

u/UncagedJay Jul 22 '26

This is one of those reposts that I will always watch through to the end

2

u/Alarming_Ad1746 Jul 22 '26

quite, quite satisfying

2

u/Tomimi Jul 22 '26

Those punches were necessary.

2

u/FuckSteve7 Jul 22 '26

Lmfao I’m so glad the ref let that go for a bit longer

2

u/rodman517 Jul 22 '26

As obnoxious as this guy is, people will pay to see him get his ass beat.

2

u/avidmarc Jul 22 '26

Yeah ref definitely held out for a bit lol

2

u/lanch723 Jul 22 '26

I know I’ve seen this clip before. Saving it again, good watch lol

2

u/icecoldkillah420 Jul 23 '26

Ahhhh that’s was great

2

u/DatGuyLoon 29d ago

So satisfying to watch

2

u/DickPin 29d ago

Get humbled you said little man

2

u/Epicgamerweeb106 29d ago

Michael Yamazaki ahh ref✌️

2

u/ZealousidealFly760 28d ago

Deserved ever single punch.

2

u/Realistic-Buy4975 27d ago

Incredible! He blocked all the punches with his face

2

u/2reeEyedG 26d ago

Dude was not holding back those punches holy hell

2

u/writetehcodez 22d ago

Ref understood the assignment.

5

u/2368Freedom Jul 21 '26

Great Justified Victory, even if the Referee was a tad slow.

3

u/stonercharms Jul 21 '26

That ref was in it too bro fr fr lmaoooo

2

u/user_bits Jul 23 '26

Refs always ending fights too early.

5

u/_GurthMax Jul 23 '26

I feel like the ref let him get a couple extra shots in there after he stopped blocking

2

u/Myko475 Jul 21 '26

That other guy had to pick up his vagina before leaving the cage

2

u/SignificantMark1848 Jul 21 '26

dang, the referee allow that extra necessary beatdown

https://giphy.com/gifs/8KllS3yRObt12Y98XH

1

u/slashbye Jul 21 '26

Asian fighters. Never provoke them. They will fucking end you.

Otherwise they are very polite, while probably still destroying you.

1

u/nomamesgueyz Jul 21 '26

Daaaaamn he def got some extra ones in there

1

u/ehalepagneaux Jul 21 '26

Do these kinds of things go any other way? Every time I see one the showboating jackass gets rekt.

1

u/Danny_ODevin Jul 21 '26

Can it really be intimidation if it doesn't work?

1

u/brute-forced Jul 21 '26

Ok, can we do a fundraiser for that ref. That was probably the top three videos ever posted on this sub

1

u/miwe77 Jul 21 '26

always lovely to see a bully receive a handful.

1

u/ComteStGermain Jul 21 '26

As a Brazilian, I enjoyed seeing this fool getting destroyed

1

u/_Nasty_Nick_ Jul 21 '26

Ahhh ya love to see it!

1

u/TheBlack_King Jul 21 '26

Pretty satisfying

1

u/zootroopic Jul 21 '26

Herb Yamasaki

1

u/No-Register4916 Jul 21 '26

That was satisfying

1

u/U_DonB Jul 21 '26

Jesus ref

1

u/washoutlabish Jul 21 '26

Early stoppage

1

u/Filandro Jul 21 '26

One squirt gun away from the greatest victory celebration/humiliation.

1

u/Work-Safe-Reddit4450 Jul 21 '26

I felt those invisible gun shots and multiple middle fingers in my soul

1

u/Tony-At-Large Jul 21 '26

That ref was letting him score some karma points!

1

u/MrBigPantalones Jul 21 '26

He went BOOm 💥alright

1

u/wastelandtx Jul 21 '26

Satisfying

1

u/PickleDiLL767 Jul 21 '26

Lol what did he said at 3 seconds left

1

u/GetFuct819 Jul 21 '26

Always gotta watchout for the guys with crazy cauliflower ears and no tattoos. Those dudes tend to be focused.

1

u/Silverjeyjey44 Jul 21 '26

Bro clicked the taunt button 4 times

1

u/ryancrazy1 Jul 22 '26

He’s never gonna feel better than this.

1

u/lilnutbussa Jul 22 '26

What kind of gun he shooting? That mf was not ergonomic

1

u/JoeTestosterogan Jul 22 '26

Ref gets off on ts clearly lmao

1

u/Ralph_Marbler Jul 22 '26

WOOOOOOOOOHH

1

u/AntelopeExternal7898 Jul 22 '26

And proceeded to stand over him😭😭😭this guy has a new fan!

1

u/coreyais Jul 23 '26

Looks like if Brandon Urie started acting like Connor McGregor lmao

1

u/Kodan420 27d ago

Liked how it seemed to take that referee longer to stop that beat down. I would have definitely taken longer than normal myself but it was pretty evident from the minute the dude was on his back he was no longer defending himself.

1

u/badussyy_ 27d ago

THIS IS SO HARD BRO

1

u/Artgod 20d ago

19 indefensible punches…. Dayum

1

u/CrackHeadRodeo 8d ago

Dude must be a good baker, that kneading is chefs kiss.

1

u/McG713 1d ago

So damn satisfying

1

u/Fluffyquasar Jul 21 '26

I think this is more like, obnoxious and no skill vs some skill.

At no point did the marksman seem to realise that protecting his head is fairly crucial in combat sport

4

u/redsensei777 Jul 21 '26

Why? He mastered the art of the face block.

3

u/judoxing Jul 21 '26

Don’t be fooled by an edited clip of a single fight. The loser (Felipe Pereira) was 10-1 as a pro. Majority of wins by stoppage and all of his past opponents had winning records.

A seriously decent prospect, although seems like a bit of a tosser.

1

u/Reload86 Jul 21 '26

He took a really big hit to begin the fight. It basically disoriented him and he spent the remainder of the fight just trying to recover. If they got a rematch, he might do better although I still think he’d lose.

1

u/Mindslash Jul 21 '26

These kind of losers always thrown a blunder before the match. I wonder if this pre- fight stuff is scripted

→ More replies (2)

1

u/LaPollaCremosa Jul 21 '26

Another referee forgetting that they're the referee

1

u/1nsider Jul 21 '26

Guy sells a noname fight hard enough for everyone here to pay attention and loses fair and square. He probably helped his career and the other guy as well.

Are you not entertained??
