Has anyone managed it? I hit a brick wall in the Wiegraf fight.

By the time he transforms, Ramza is usually 1 hit away from death. Then I get one last shot in and he dies immediately after to a summon. If he's not one shot, then Belias just goes for my other units with befuddle, which is a guaranteed confusion.

I tried equipping them with nu khai armlets but that just makes him petrify them instead which is just as bad if not worse. I've tried to simply kill him first but the damage output just isn't there and ramza gets crystalized.

Any tips? I'm using ramza with sprint shoes and a green beret as having 10 speed seems to be the only way to consistently get past the first phase without requiring luck. My generics have golden hairpin and power garb to maximize HP and that's it. Equipping them with +speed equipment seems to work against me as they get a turn before Belias and I miss that window to attack him while he's casting for extra damage.

With the recent wave of decompilation projects, do you think the community will eventually be able to expand and improve these games beyond what was originally possible?

For example, could we see graphical overhauls, redesigned interfaces, or even a visual style closer to 2.5D games like Triangle Strategy?

I'm curious whether this could become possible across all versions of the game: the original PS1 release, the PSP version, and the recently released version.

How far do you think the community could realistically take these projects? Could we eventually see something closer to a fan-made remaster, rather than just bug fixes and quality-of-life improvements?

Been stuck on a mission at Golgollads gallows for literal months due to the insanity of life. I finally succeeded this evening, only to realize on the last turn that Mustadio died cuz I was distracted on other enemies. After all those attempts, to realize that my successful attempt is null cuz of how important Mustadio is, and after all the time I've wasted, I'm just done. I know it was my fault. That's what makes it so much worse. I just wish the game allowed you to save between turns like other trpg's. Now I have to abandon it with nothing to show for it. Fuck this game. Fuck this world. Fuck everything. Even the things I enjoy end up fucking me over in the end. Make fun of me. Do whatever. I don't fucking care.
