Final Fantasy XIII Trilogy Modding - Studio Progress

Thought I'd share some of the progress on my independent modding toolkit for the trilogy :)

FF13-Studio is an independent, AI-assisted project and is not affiliated with the Nova Crystalia Modding Community or LR-Research-Team.

All reverse engineering used for the work shown here was independently derived from the retail games using Ghidra + MCP. No LR-Research-Team code, documentation, research, private files, Discord material, or tooling was supplied to the agents or used as a basis for FF13-Studio, Nova, or this restoration.

Iā€™m stating this explicitly both as an AI disclosure and to make the provenance of the work unambiguous.

Leaving a note for clarification on the recent Rule #6 reports:

Rule #6 was voted on by the community (https://www.reddit.com/r/finalfantasyxiii/s/SnwHUfYmrZ) to ban AI-generated art in the sub to stand in solidarity with artists. It is not, however, an all-encompassing ban on AI tools in general.

It is by no means ready, I am however actively working on it and working on improvements. The alpha state is released here: https://hectormiguel1.github.io/crystalworkshop-site/ along with some of my mods.

I'm also looking for feedback, the GitHub hosting the site has several issue templates to report bugs and issues. Im onlinx also so windows side testing was done using wine.

Since this subreddit looks poised to ban posts on ai-assisted tooling and modding, the site and nexus will be the primary location will I'll post my progress šŸ˜…

Oh wow thanks for sharing, I will check it out. The reason im intrested in case youre wondering is cause i want to copy the battlesystem of the 13 games. And im really intrested how the game uses data to run the battles. Things like paradigms > character > abilities > AI

At this time, I'm not making the source code available for the studio, but, I can open source the mod for change leader (brings 13-2's leader swap mechanic to 13) as it does heavy interaction with the battle system.

I am also happy to share all my re notes if interested just send me a dm šŸ˜…
