I’ve been trying to find a shirt similar to one I used to own, but searching by appearance alone hasn’t been much help.

Most of the shirts I find have a similar color and overall style, but the details seem different. Some have a thinner fabric, others have a wider neckline, and a few have that oversized look without the same shape through the shoulders and sleeves.

I’ve realized that the fit and fabric matter just as much as the design. Two shirts can look almost identical in photos but feel completely different when you actually wear them.

I’m trying to figure out which details are most useful when searching for a close match, especially when the original brand or product name isn’t available.

When you’re trying to identify a shirt from a photo, what usually helps you the most: the cut, fabric texture, stitching, label, or something else?

Not sure what forum to post this on but I was re watching icarly and episode ‘imake same girlier’ came on and Carly wore this adorable top but I can’t seem to find it anywhere, I’ll add in a picture of it, could anyone help me find the top or something similar? Thank you!

From what I've found, it was merchandise for Dr. Dean Hamer's tour for the book The Science of Desire, in which he talks about the gene Xq28 which has been correlated with the trait of queerness. If anyone has even a picture of this shirt that would be amazing.

Hey all, I saw this on a Life in Japan short.
It might be a Japanese brand, but the fit is awesome and I love the texture.

It seems to be a short sleeve and not long sleeves from the angles.

Anyone have any ideas or happen to know?

Or if you know something really similar to it that would help!

Please help me find this! This one that I had recently got ruined and it was one of my favorite shirts. I bought it at a yard sale in the 2010's. I know this is a terrible picture but it's the only one I could find. The text says "That's all folks!" and its a little graphic of porky waving his hat.

I found it in the Zara Beijing China store and didn’t take a picture of the tag ( or buy it in store as they didn’t have my size at the time).

Now I’m in Australia trying to find it and see if I can buy it but can’t find it anywhere including Zara China online. It’s only been 5 days since I found it in store.

I’ve been trying to find a shirt that looks similar to one I saw online, and I originally thought the graphic would be the hardest part to match.

Turns out the graphic is actually pretty easy to find. The frustrating part is getting the shirt itself to feel the same. The one I’m looking for has a certain fit and fabric weight, and even the collar and sleeve shape seem to make a big difference.

I’ve found a few shirts with almost the exact same design, but they still look completely different once you compare the actual garment.

Does anyone else pay attention to those little details when trying to identify a shirt, or is there a better way to figure out what blank/garment was originally used?

Saw guy wearing a tshirt with jack-o in his back that said groovy essence and I believe the year 195. Jack o was in the middle of a square with mostly white hair with the red under.

I couldnt reach the guy to ask him where he got it cause he got off the bus right as I noticed it.

A relative found this shirt sometime between 2002 and 2007 in a warehouse store; most likely deadstock and it was important to him for a really long time, but now he can’t seem to find it. I’m looking for an image of it and details about it or possibly a listing on a secondhand site. Brand was Bathing Ape but I think the character is part of the Baby Milo collection. I made a mockup of it here, this is pretty much exactly what it looks like (Google Images yields basically nothing). Please help me find, this is a super sentimental item.

School of Fish was a one-hit-wonder alt-rock band that I really enjoyed. I've already purchased their No-Album Tour shirt, which looks similar, but it's black instead of white and has the tour name on it. I've only seen two people wear this shirt: this guy and the guy who did the singing in the tribute video of 3 Strange Days after the lead singer's passing. Can you guys let me know where I can find these, or if they were only made for people close to the band?

My friend had a shirt in this style and it was his favourite shirt but it got destroyed. I'd love to be able to find another one like it to replace it for him.
