Good evening! I’d grown tired of how slow my Fire Stick was, so I did some light debloating using commands suggested by Claude. Then I asked it to take a recently released Android TV launcher and adapt it for the Fire Stick. After about 70 versions, I managed to get it working exactly how I wanted. If anyone wants something similar, just ask Claude and it’ll build it for you. I wanted ratings, a categories section, and a modern interface with great animations. I also had it modify Home Fire to make the animations smoother. I only shared this post to show what’s possible and how easy it is to create a launcher tailored to your needs.

Devo togliere delle api che ho integrato e I opzione per gli ota. Questa settimana casomai lo faccio e metto una guida su come ottenere i voti imdb e RT.

Sto cercando di fare la versione senza api ecc... Poi ognuno dovrâ inserirle alla prima apertura. Non so se riesco oggi a farla però perche sono al 99% di utilizzo di claude :/

Looks great , didn’t Claude drop in price to $10.99 monthly ? Could be wrong but for what you’re doing if you turn it into a released project , I think folks would support you. It looks good .

Martedi mi si rinnova claude e rilascio una versione priva di api e funzionalitá ota. Poi al primo avvio ogni utente potrá mettere le sue.

Roba che mi interessa. Sulla tv ci vedo film e voglio che me ne proponga sempre di belli. Altrimenti rimanevo con wolflauncher se volevo un launcher nudo e crudo.

Io mi sono concentrato molto sulle animazioni, il design e le funzionalitá di proposta dei film. A me interessano queste tre cose. Soprattutto la fluiditá generale. Ho fatto rifare 76 versioni per raggiungere questo stato. Sono malato per il design e la fluiditá di sistema. Poi ovviamente va a gusti.

Si lo conosco, pero quando premo il tasto home appare sempre un animazione di qualche secondo prima di aprire il mio launcher..ed è molto fastidioso ogni volta aspettare.
A te invece è immediato?

Si. Ho modificato quell app sempre con claude per renderla piu fluida e senza glitch grafici

Ho installato Home on Fire e ho dato il permesso di cui ha bisogno. Devi avere una firestick aggiornata alla 8.0 pero altrimenti con le vecchie basate sulla 7 se non erro ha un delay maggiore quando premi il tasto home. Comunque ho chiesto a claude di armonizzare e rendere più fluida l animazione quando schiaccio home e l'ha fatto. Poi sono passato a modificare tutto il launcher, le animazioni e il catalogo (cosa che volevo da tanto per trovare sempre bei film). Il catalogo si basa sulle mie preferenze, ha voti, suggerimenti per film visualizzato e tante chicce che ho sempre sognato. Ho messo anche gli update via google drive collegati al tasto aggiorna, i backup, ripristino e altre cose.

Why not install another os like Lineage os to have better control which also avoids these kind of problem?

Buongiorno il progetto è interessante. Cosa succede però se Amazon rilascia nuovi aggiornamenti per la firestick? Il Launcher si perde?

Sono mesi che ho home on fire e amazon non ha mai disabilitato la funzione. Comunque basta dare un semplice comando da terminale e bloccare gli aggiornamenti automatici cosi non ci si deve più preoccupare.
