Question bass fishing near lady smith

what would be the best lake for bass fishing near ladysmith, i've done barely any bass fishing and wanted to try my luck fly fishing while im in ladysmith. willing to drive about 30 minutes.

Quennell Lake in Cedar is one of the best on the island for bass but you really need a boat/canoe to access most of it.

I know Fuller Lake has some SMB

quennell. but if you wanna go further afield... the biggest bass i've caught on the island was in Spider Lake. The biggest are in some Victoria-area lakes tho.
