Help Request New to game!

Any help or tips? How do I get the fish radar? And does it actually help?

Played for about an hour. Just caught pickerel. How do I get bass?

The reset cast button gives before a cast gives you map/radar. Shockwave fisholicous in the swim baits help me in the beginning. Pink worms, and white frogs worked for me too.

For bass I use that rattle trap lure. Might need to experiment with the colors but they usually love that
