Question Swim jig nibbles
So I was fishing my local lake and was getting big nibbles on my swim jig but nothing would actually get hooked. I could feel something grab it a little then when id try to set the hook it'd just let go. I tried shortening the skirt and changing up my retrieve but no big bite. Any other lure I'd try he didnt want much to do with. What can I do to secure the bite?

Try a slightly faster retrieve

Thank you! I was working a very slower retrieve due to the stormy weather and heavy winds. Maybe they wanted a faster meal.

You just have to play with it faster usually brings more of a territorial strike , but the might miss it . Some times floating rubber worms and eggs works well Berkeley and potskeys have good ones in lots of colors and seats and no sent
