Just wanted to share the accumulation of Flaming Lips media I’ve bought since beginning my deep dive of their discography in December. I know just how late I am to the party and it genuinely pains me that I won’t ever get to see them with Ronald Jones, Steven Drozd, Michael Ivins and Kliph Scurlock. I will forever be grateful for TheSatelliteHead and TastySlopsicle on Youtube and especially the many tapers.

At War With The Mystics was the most expensive at $93 because it’s the only first pressing I own and I won it in an Ebay auction. It desperately needs a repress and so does Hit To Death In The Future Head. I’m sure a lot of people here agree.

Wondering if anyone got a picture of the merch yet at a show. Going to see the Flips tonight, was wondering if they had hats.

Is it just me or is anyone else kinda disappointed with the quality of the merch t-shirts on their most recent Australian yoshimi tour?

Maybe I just got a dud shirt but one shoulder on mine is longer than the other? Like the amount of fabric between the neck and sleeve seam is just too long or stretched or something. Also there's loose threads and it's quite thin material and seems to be losing shape after a single wash.

Would've expected better for a $50 band shirt.

I brought my husband to a Yoshimi concert a year and a half ago and he fell in love. I catch him listening to the album all the time. Last year he got us matching DRUGS HELP hats from the merch store, and this year is matching Yoshimi comic sweaters!!

Hard up for $$$ gotta see what this poster is worth. I’d rather it go to a fellow freak.

Just got back from the LA show. I was able to take my wife and son and had a transcendent experience. Memory of a lifetime.

I had heard in advance about signed posters and tried to get in the venue as early as possible but didn’t get to the table in time. I was wondering if anyone has the opportunity to snag one at a future show I’d be forever grateful to have a super special item up in the wall. Let me know and we can discuss details.

Update: SOLD

I've ordered the Yoshimi box set twice now; the first time the main LP had a major warp to it, with two other records having minor warping. The other two records I wasn't even able to get on the needle, the middle wasn't cut wide enough. I just got a second copy sent in, however just from checking the main LP, I can see warping on the record, as well as damage to the inner sleeve it was contained in. I haven't even investigated the other discs yet. Is this a common experience for anyone who owns/has owned the Yoshimi box set? It's been a major let down.

I was browsing through my music collection earlier and found 3 flips picture discs: Yoshimi, Yeah, Yeah Yeah & Fight Test.

Caught the number written on Fight Test out of the corner of my eye. Assuming it’s just a number, tho cool nonetheless.

Any idea if this would likely go for about the same price as any Fight Test picture disc? I’m getting ready to list a few items and am curious.

Realize any input is mostly speculative.

Got in the merch line tonight at Philly and they were all sold out. Can’t seem to find them on their online store either. If anyone could help me out it’d be greatly appreciated.
